Breast lift and implants
I had my breast augmentation and lift with Dr. Z at Vado Plastic Surgery in Orlando after dealing with tuberous breasts that deflated from taking Ozempic. My goal was to achieve a lifted, rounded look that matched my inspo pictures. Unfortunately, the results didn't fully meet my expectations.
One of my breasts has a noticeably different shape-one is curved while the other is straighter and flatter on the side. When I told him how the shapes bothered me he said I can pay more to come back in for liposuction. They also sit lower than I wanted, which wasn't what I had in mind. I originally asked for a D or DD cup, but l ended up with G cups, which feels excessive. Before I went into surgery my mom even reiterated that I didn’t want them huge, and he dismissed her saying he already discussed the size with me. During my recovery it was extremely hard to reach any nurses on the emergency phone line. I had a slight emergency in the first few days after surgery and couldn't reach anyone for probably 2 days. If I texted any questions to Klara (patient messaging app) they take several days to respond too.
Another issue is that my rib tattoo shifted significantly onto my breast, and I wish I had been warned about this beforehand because I would have removed during surgery if he had said anything. When I expressed how this bothered me he quoted me another almost $2k to remove it in office. Basically any issue I had he dismissed and said I could pay more money to fix.
What I do like about them is he did well with the thin stitching in my opinion. And I felt that the surgery center was safe and clean.
That said, the overall experience at the clinic was decent. Dr. Z and the nurses were kind, but I felt like he didn't provide much guidance or input during the process. I would have appreciated more discussion about my goals and potential outcomes. The nurse Aly was especially sweet and helpful, but one of the nurses/patient coordinators with short blonde hair was extremely rude, which made parts of the experience frustrating. For example my 3 month follow up was virtual with her and any concern I had she brushed off and had a blunt attitude about.
For $12K, I expected results that better aligned with my vision. While the staff (for the most part) was nice, I don't feel like my concerns were fully addressed, and the outcome wasn't what I had hoped. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't have come here personally.
