Breast lift with implant: 28 year old mom of 3

One year!

WORTH IT$10,000
Today marked one year since I’ve had my breast lift and augmentation done. I absolutely LOVE my results! They are exactly what I was hoping for. It’s been so fun to wear new swimsuit tops and bras that have no underwire!! I haven’t worn underwire in a whole year :)

My recovery was ideal with no complications. I still have pretty visible scarring, which I’ve been told will take some time to fade. It did take a few months to regain complete feeling in my right nipple and I am still slowly regaining feeling in my left nipple. Again, fairly common.

I had 2 follow-up appointments with Dr. Salzman that went extremely well: one 2 weeks post and the second 2 months post. After the second follow-up, I was cleared to do anything (run, play sports, lift heavy things). We also took my “after” pictures at that appointment which was fun to see the side by side with my “before” picture.

Looking back on my experience, I would highly recommend Dr. Salzman for a breast augmentation and lift! He will work with you to get your desired results! I had such a positive experience all around and could not be more pleased with my results!!

My surgery went so great yesterday! The doctor said I didn’t need as much of a lift as we originally thought so he did more of a lollipop lift with a smaller incision for the implant.
The nurse, Melissa, took great care of me and made sure I understood everything that was happening. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Clark, was very kind and a calming person to have in the OR. I told him I had past experiences of throwing up post surgery so he told me he’d do his best to prevent that. I did end up throwing up when I woke up and he personally apologized (which I didn’t care because it actually made me feel better!). I just thought that was sweet of him to care so much.
I had the hardest time waking up yesterday from surgery but I appreciated that great nap :) I felt a ton of pressure on my chest, not so much pain, just a lot of pressure. When we got home, i propped myself up with pillows in bed and slept great! Leaning back was the most comfortable position for me and I could hardly feel the pressure.
This morning, I’m still feeling pressure and am extremely sore. Again, not really pain so that’s nice! I tried to do minimal activity but could tell when I was doing too much so would take a break. I’ve stayed on top of pain medicine and muscle relaxers and that’s helped.
Took a shower and it was better than expected. The water didn’t hurt like I thought it would. It was also the first time I saw the girls. Very high and hard, but so far I’m loving the size!

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I am also a mummy, of a 2 year old and I am going to do an anchor lift. My only concern is the "after procedure experience"..how did you manage to go through the day with 3 kids? I bet you have someone constantly by your side helping you out? At which week were you able to do some basic lifting? I will await your response because it will surely help me. Thanks!!

Hello! I had my surgery on a Friday afternoon so my husband was able to be with me the following 2 days after to help with the kids. However, I was home by myself with the kids by day 3. I was able to lift my 1 year old 3 days after but tried very hard to squat down to lift her and not use my chest muscles at all. I had to take things really slow but stayed on top of my pain medicine to help manage. After the first week, things were a lot better and I was able to do more! Just take it easy and try to get as much help as you can! But, it is manageable on your own. Not sure how old your kids are but have them help you as much as possible. I just told them mommy's muscles were hurting :)

Can you please message me back? Thanks again!

Thank you Hacosa for reaching out! You truly helped me with your feedback because I was worried sick that I might not be able to handle things around me..i know that it will not be that easy for me however I will have my hubby around me the first two weeks. My son is 2 years old and he constantly needs my attention that's what worries me as he might not understand why I will not be able to lift him:/

Ah yes, that is hard when they don't understand! Hopefully you can encourage him to still snuggle up with you since you'll be resting and sitting quite a bit! That will be very helpful to have your husband home though! Take it easy and listen to your body, it will tell you when you need to take a break!
