Dr. “unknown” /Dr. Z earns respect

The formerly mentioned “Dr. Unknown” saw me at my next FU appointment. My apologies, I still don’t remember her name. We’ll call her Dr. Z. now. Dr. Z was 10 x more personable! And I felt more confidence in her. Most importantly, when she saw a little issue with my healing breast, she asked Dr. Walden to take a look. Walden was in surgery, but I was happy to wait (and glad that I did.) While I waited, Dr. Z gave me an idea of how the issue would likely be handled. Ultimately, one breast had to be cleaned up (dead tissue removed) and re-sutured. A piece of tissue was sent to the lab and I was placed on antibiotics.

Today was the follow up appointment from above. I only saw Dr. Walden today. Pathology shows I was put on the correct antibiotic and everything looks good now. Stitches are likely going to be removed over the next 2-3 weeks. Just a little setback. But, all is well. I’m thankful for the diligence of Dr. Walden and Dr. Z.

I am still concerned with the painful numbness in my neck. It’s still swollen and I’m told can take some time to resolve. I’ll post more as time goes on. Because apparently only time can tell.

As all the other reviews mentioned, the office staff awesome and nurse Carli AMAZING!

Where’s Walden

My post op appointments are disappointing. I researched Dr. Walden for about a year before entrusting her and another doctor does my follow ups. Doctor Unknown doesn’t communicate and seems put off by questions. I don’t know if the things I’m experiencing are complications, if not, when they typically resolve. Is this par for the course? Am I expecting too much?

I was a patient of Walden's back in Dec. 2009. What you are experiencing right now is not that dissimilar to what happened to me with her. You can read my review about my experience on this site. 10 yrs later and I still live with the regret of having chosen her as my plastic surgeon. Good luck to you and I sincerely hope your results turn out good.

Breast lift, implant, lipo under arm area, neck lipo and face tight to the neck.

Almost 2 weeks post op. The pain has been as expected. I'm trusting it's too early to realize the final results. I choose a very reputable Board Certified Surgeon. I'm not certain how bad the scarring will be. The incision was lollipop. It looks awful a the moment. But, I'm optimistic. The neck tight is certainly "tight". Again too soon to say if it's a success. Will post more later in the journey. I can say I'm already considering lipo on the tummy.
