ORIGINAL POST
Breast Lift with 400cc Mentor implants, 3 kids age 35- 1 week until my OP ????
kat0882January 13, 2018
WORTH IT$6,920
I’m booked to have a full breast lift and implants in 1 weeks time at Spire Bristol. I had had my pre-op yesterday and as little long as I don’t get a cold in the next week we are good to go.
I am nervous and excited at the same time. I have never had full breasts ever! I had my first child at just 15 years old so they were ruined by pregnancy before they even got to develop properly. Since then I have had 2 more children and suffered hypo engorgement twice which stretched my boobs to a HH cup each time.
So now I have Finished having my children I’m going to get my girls fixed ????... wish me luck

I’m home, I have definitely realised I under estimated how uncomfortable I would be after my procedure. I can’t do a thing right now.
I got to put on my bra to day after getting one that fits. The one I had purchased was to small so my surgeon told me not to put one on until I had one that was right.. that appears to be a 36 E for now.

Congrats on finally having your surgery! Implants under the muscle can be quite uncomfortable. The first few days is the roughest but things should get better from there on. Just be sure to stay on top of the pain meds. Did your PS also prescribe you muscle relaxers? Many with “unders“ find the muscle relaxers more effective than the pain meds. I hope you’re feeling better soon. Wishing you a smooth healing… :-)

Hi Mdlg5, my PS did not prescribe me any muscle relaxers? I I’ll be seeing him in a few days so I will definitely ask him about them. I’m taking my pain meds every 4 hours to keep on top of it. I’m just looking forwards to feeling better soon x

Hi again, sounds like a plan. However if things get too uncomfortable I would not hesitate to call your PS (on his after hours line) to see if he can prescribe you a good muscle relaxer such as Valium. The reason muscle relaxer’s may be more effective with unders is because the pectoral muscles have been cut; and much of the pain may be muscle pain. I have “overs” so I didn’t have much pain; my primary reason for taking the muscle relaxer’s was just to get us to sleep at night. I’m not much of a back sleeper. Good luck!
