Why I'm Getting a Breast Lift

I decided to start sharing my experience because reading other peoples' experiences and seeing their pictures helps me tremendously, so hopefully mine can help someone else, also.
I'm 29 years olf, 5ft tall, 110 lbs, no kids.
My chest has some sag- I just got unlucky. I went through a growth spurt when I was 12 / 13 years old, the skin stretched, and that was it. To top, I started yoyo dieting like crazy throughout my entire adolescence, which eventually led to a 40 pound weight gain (and D cup size) and subsequent loss. I'm in good shape now, but my chest sits pretty low.
Having a saggy chest has seriously affected my confidence since I was 14 years old- everything from changing in front of friends, to being intimate in relationships. And just being confident in myself in general.
Concerning relationships, I haven't had to worry about being intimate because I haven't had time to date- I changed careers and went back to school. But now, I have a career and my life is in order, but I'm SO insecure about my chest. At this point, I don't even try to date. I've actually been completely avoiding it.
I've wanted to get this procedure done since I was 14. I put it off in my early and mid 20s because I was still yoyo dieting and couldn't afford it financially. But at this point, my career is in order, and I'm tired of being lonely and insecure because of my chest. Even though it scares me, I know that I need to do this so that I can live my life fully.

Frustrated

I'm at a point of frustration in this process. I'd like to schedule the surgery for June and haven't found the right surgeon yet. I've met with several amazing surgeons, and I do feel safe in all of their hands, but nothing feels right yet. I have more consultations scheduled for February.

I'm frustrated with myself because I'm not as stable with my weight as I should be, and I have to be in a good place with that prior to the surgery.

I know I have to be realistic and that there will be scars, etc. but I want my chest as close to symmetrical as possible with the "neatest" possible scarring.

I need to suck it up, think positive, and get it together. I'm 29 and don't want to be so insecure about this anymore.

Making Research a Priority

I'm making researching surgeons, researching the procedure in general, and scheduling consultations a priority every day. I need to be as informed as possible and make a decision if I want to get this done in June- 6 months to go.
