Breast Implant Replacement from Saline to Silicone, Breast Lift and Lipo
Breast Implant Replacement from Saline to Silicone, Breast Lift and Lipo
So I have had my saline implants in for 22 years. Really didn't realize how long it had been. I decided I needed to change them out and really needed a breast lift anyway. I narrowed my Dr list down to 4 doctors and Dr. Ghazi was best by far. I liked that he went to Emory but what really impressed was that he actually listened to what I wanted, spent time with me, looked at my wish pictures and really seemed to care. The other doctors I saw were very dismissive and even though their coordinators were super friendly and nice it was a different story with the actual doctor appointment.
I couldn't find my old card for size of my implants which kinda sucked but did tell Dr. Ghazi I wanted to go smaller and a more natural look. I always have felt top heavy but of course don't want to be too small either! Very slippery slope to navigate. I also didn't like how hard my implants felt being saline. I learned also that I had a bit of capsule contraction on my left breast.
So another issue I wanted to address is how my abdomen looked after having a mini tummy tuck with Dr. Mark F. Deutsch at Perimeter Plastic Surgery 3 years before. He should have done a complete tummy tuck or something different. The results left me with extra skin and fat above the belly button (a fold that wouldn't go away). I lost so my faith in this doctor did NOT want him to do anything else to my body. BTW do NOT go to this doctor! I figured anything that could be done would be an improvement.
My stats are 124 lbs, 5 ft 4 inches, very slim except around midsection.
Update 3 days after surgery on 07-17-2020
The best way to sleep was upright in my chair and a half kindof tilted over to each side :)
I ended up with Mentor 285 cc high profile implants along with breast lift.
The lipo really surprised me as he got rid of the abdomen fat, the scar tissue from my past mini tummy tuck 3 years before and my love handles! Super super excited about that!
