I feel like my left boob is finally starting to drop! And I’m super happy with how the scars look. Keeping tapes on them 24/7! I feel like that’s really helping the scars stay flat.

Hi guys! I just wanted to show you my results 4.5 weeks post up. Scars are healing great. My right one is a bit more funky looking compared to my left but that’s because it had a harder time healing. It should be fine after I’m all the way healed.
I do have pain in the mornings but only on my left boob. As you can see the left is still way higher up than the right. I hope it evens out because I’m worried about capsular contracture. I have my next post op appt next week so hopefully they can give me good news.
I love them though. They look amazing in everything. I ordered more tape so I can continue taping them because that will help with the scars laying flat and with the tension on the scars.
Still wearing my bra but can go hours without having it on during the day. At night it’s always on no exceptions.
Anyone else’s boobs had unevenness like mine in the intimate stages of healing? I’m trying to stay positive.

My left is also quite a bit higher. From the beginning it was way more swollen, had to have a drain and everything. I’m 3 weeks out tomorrow and it’s still a bit higher, any discomfort is in that side only. Not much pain, just some weird feelings like it’s super heavy, if I lean toward I feel like that side is gonna pop open.

Tapes changed and stitches are out
Getting your stitches out wasn’t too terrible. The nurse did it super quick. When she changed the tapes I didn’t feel any of that either.
My nipples are healing well but my right side needs some extra care. Basically the tape took off some skin and I need to keep the area moisturized with Xeroform to make sure it heals properly. My left side is perfect!
I’m really happy with my scars. They are already soooo light. I can tell they’re just going to heal like them color of my skin.
I have to keep xeroform on my right nipple for a week and then send them a picture to see how it’s healing. If everything goes well I can take the steri-strips off and stop the xeroform. I might keep putting tape on the scars so ensure that they heal nicely and so it helps with the skin tension.
I will add another update in a week.
