I chose Dr. Revis after a lot of research and thought. I was hesitant to pull the trigger based on the price and the wait time. It was at least a 6 month wait and I didn't want to wait. Altogether I paid $12,075, which is not a small amount for me. But, seeing all the work done on his website and reviews here I paid my deposit and locked in the price.
For my preop appointment everyone at the office was super helpful. Dr. Revis has great bedside manner. I could tell that he truly loves what he does. He listened to me and was very confident and matter of fact in his answers. His recommendation was a donut lift with implants placed under the muscle. I ended up doing that with 800cc silicone implants. He warned me that I may not be able to do 800ccs, but that 750ccs would look just as great. I was given prescriptions for everything I'd need after surgery (antibiotics, muscle relaxers, pain medication, anti-nausea meds, and an arnica-bromelain blend to help with bruising.
He conducts surgery at a fully staffed hospital in the event of a medical emergency. My surgery was scheduled for 9am. The nurse who did my intake was so warm and helpful. I was given an iv and hooked up to a few different monitors for heart rate and BP. The surgery only took about an hour, I woke up within 15 minutes of being removed from the operating room. Dr. Revis came to check on me once I woke and let me know that he was able to do the 800ccs! I had a nurse designated to sit with me until I was myself again. I was given pain medication and a muscle relaxer and was in and out of sleep. I was fully awake by 1230 pm and was given the green light to leave. I slept for most of the rest of the day.
I was back at his office the next day for my post op. Everything was looking and feeling great. I had my surgery on a Wednesday and I'm now four days post op on Sunday. I'm still fairly bruised and sore. But, nothing unmanageable. I only have the incisions around my nipples and am so glad he was able to put the implant in that way to minimize scarring.
I'm now at day four post op and feeling much like myself again. Obviously, I'm still in pain, but its manageable and I'd do it again if I had to!
