495cc HP Sientra, worth it!!

The start of your story.....oh boy. Age 36,5'3,135-140lbs,BWD 13cm, 34/36A, nursed 2 babies until their 1st bday. I have always been very self conscious of my breasts, the shape and size. I absolutely hate bathsuit and bra shopping. I always said "one day I'm getting a boob job!" It was always something I said but I never actually thought I would have done or make happen. I have a 9yr old boy, 9yrs later along came my second son. My first son's delivery was smooth and flawless, baby #2 was not. I had to be induced, pitocin started, 3 attempts with my midwife, doc called and tried suction, nope! His 02 sats were dropping and I was exhausted. A stat csection, fully tubed and intubated, time spent in the bilirubin box, the whole delivery was a scary nightmare. I nursed my son until he turned 1. I finally called and made a consultation appt and I just kept rolling with it and made it happen April 26th, on my 36th birthday! I chose Artisan plastic surgery because it seems everyone else has in my area and I have never heard anything bad about Dr. Johns, his work or his staff. The whole process was smooth, stress free and so far I'm very happy. The staff at the Delmont office are perfect! I really liked my 2 nurses from the surgery center, Megan...I think was one of them, she was friendly and talkative which relaxed me. My surgery was 10days ago, today is my first post op appt. I had a vertical lift with implants 495cc hp Sientra. I was scared to death that I chose a size to big, I stuck with my first decision and didn't change the size, I don't regret it, they look great for my size and shape. The one thing I wish Dr. John's had offered is pictures of other women who have the same measurements and size/shape implant that I chose to have some idea of what you will look like. The office puts you in a bra to try sizers, it's hard to picture those sizers on your body, then I started googling to get an idea and ended up having myself scared! It's true, don't always believe Google, 495cc sounds like alot for someone my size but WOW! They look great!

I had my post op appt Friday 5/5, everything "looks perfect" I was told to take the surgical bra off and buy a reg bra, size 36 or 38C!!! I've never enjoyed bra shopping before, I was so excited to pick out a new bra! I tried the 36C on first, I like the way it fits. I have to say, my procedure was on a Wednesday and I went back to work monday, I worked a 12hr shift. I had some pain, muscle pain, pressure type pain, nothing horrible. I ended up only take 3 of the pain pills and maybe 5 of the muscle relaxers. The pain waa tolerable and I didn't need the narcotics. I'm so excited to buy a new wim suit! Having this procedure done was so worth it.

Not much to update, I'm feeling very happy with my decision and implant size. I think they dropped a little. I'm anxious for the steri strips to come off. I need to call the office about it. I bought bra today, 36C. I'm looking forward for them being fully settled. They still look weird. I still have some bruising and swelling.
