After nursing 3 kids, and being a workout queen, my breasts were sad and droopy. I don’t feel they were ever truly attractive, but given the fact that they served their purpose well plus age and lack of fat stores... let’s just say less than cute or perky.

Wow. Pain. My Dr. adheres to the wrap it up for one week philosophy, so I have NO clue what it looks like. When they say don’t lift more than 5 pounds and don’t raise your arms over your head, what they’re really saying is pulling your pants down to pee is torture, so is pulling them back up and wiping btw, lift a coffee cup hurts like hell, opening the refrigerator is impossible without immediate sharp pain, and getting dressed is impossible. Try adjusting yourself in bed without using your arms. Impossible. Can’t hold a rail to go p and down the stairs. Just brutal. And the bloating.... omg I look like I’m 5 months pregnant.

The pain is real. I’m frustrated. I went for a walk which was really like slowly shuffling down the street like an invalid. Still can’t believe the pain level. Constipation. Bloated to the point where I look 6 months pregnant... sharp pains on sides of breasts. Nurse called for follow up. Told her about the sharp pain. Radiating and also hurts to the touch. Nowhere near an incision. She talked to the doctor and then called back. His only advice was to continue to take the pain meds… Feeling anxious and have NO idea what’s going on under these bandages. Also, I’m very fit, so it taking 20 minutes to warm up a bowl of soup and feeling tired from doing nothing all day is SUPER frustrating. Ice helps but haaaaaaaate taking the pain meds. No way would I have been ready to go back to work today.

Sorry to hear you are suffering so much. I had mine on the 22/12. I'm 1 week post. Xmas day and Boxing Day I was in pain. I think due to doing to much. So I sat own and listened to my body. I kept getting sharpe pain in my left breast for a few days but that as gone now. Otherwise I'm all good. I'm 38 and fairly fit. Just slow down. Eat well. Drink loads of water. Hope things get better for you soon xx

Thank you. Soooo hard not to fend for myself. Have you had extreme stomach bloating? I'm not even constipated but I look five months pregnant still!

I did the first 5 days and couldn't go to the toilet. But once I finally went,I was going a few times a day and it's eased massively, that I have even put my belly bar back in now. X
