Nipple feelings!!!!

Just wanted to say that the other day I was in the shower and the water streams hit my nipple and guess what ---------------- it was almost like old days!!! Hahahaha!!!!
Right after surgery they were numb for quite some time, but they still worked as far as cold weather.
At some point the feeling slowly came back, but they were still half numb and what I did feel was somewhat a rather uncomfortable feeling, maybe even a little painful. Definitely nothing like before.
After my husband went overseas, nobody really performed nipple checks anymore hahahaha!
So I was really happy when the water hit and it actually felt like it is supposed to feel, just not as sensitive as they used to be.
I know many were wondering about the nipple feeling --- especially when having a lift. There is hope.
I do remember my PS telling me at my consultation that it is possible to lose the feeling in the nipple after a lift. But it all worked out for me it seems.

7 month update

Just a quicky update. Everything is going good. It doesn't bother me much anymore that they are not identical. Not sure if they improved or I am just getting used to them. :-D
The left nipple still points up a little, but I think he can fix that in the office. He mentioned doing something to the nipple the past 2 follow ups I had. I just never really paid too much attention what exactly he wanted to do cause I was too worried about righty being higher than lefty.
So at my next follow up I will talk to him about evening out the nips and then I should be done with them. I am happy with the outcome overall. Even after 7 month --- I feel they are still changing for the better and finding their place.
The scarring is actually not as bad --- red as it appears on the picture. I guess its the light or camera that brings them out more.

Todays follow up

So I just got back from my follow up.
Them being hard some days and soft on others is normal. He said to keep massaging and for me to continue the singulair. He said the right (the one with the capsule) improved quite a bit and it is possible that things might still change slightly for the better.
We both agreed that the right looks better than the left, with the CC and all. lol.
I also asked him about the lower implant on the left when I raise my arm. He said that was fine, cause when I lower my arm the implant is still above the scar. So it's not bottoming out or anything like that. We did schedule another follow up for January.
As far as making any adjustments. I did ask about pushing the left implant up --- however, chances are pretty high that I will develop CC on my left if we mess with it, since I did develop it on my right. He advised that I just leave them alone, cause they came out pretty good. Going in again could go either way.
I do trust him and respect his opinion. If he thinks it's a bad idea to mess with them, then I will take his word for it.
So we will see what happens by January. :-)
