Breast Lift with Implants- 33 Yrs Old, 5’2, 136 Lbs, 1 Breastfed Child
WORTH IT
I have been researching breast augmentations and reading ppls stories for 5 years now after pregnancy and breastfeeding. I had my first consultation in 2019 but didn’t really like that dr. & I was still really nervous about it all. This week I had my consultation with Dr. Contogiannis and her & her staff were amazing! She is extremely thorough with information, I literally felt like they were my friends.
I was there for 2.5 hours talking and learning. She really made me feel at ease about it all. I was praying I didn’t have to get a lift of course but I have phase 1 sagging & mild tubular from pregnancy. I was an A cup and went up to a D cup while pregnant. Now I’m a deflated full B. My goal to be a perky full C or small D. I want silicone implants, I need the Lollipop incision. I’m really torn about over or under the muscle. I can’t seem to find anyone who has gone over the muscle to ask how they feel about it?
I’m also curious about how others handled the pain after surgery? I have heard about numbing medicine that is time released in the muscles, pain pumps & Oral pain medication of course. Pain meds and anesthesia make me very nauseated and sick so the dr said I’d get a patch behind my ear to help & a pain medication that’s better suited for me. She also does the numbing meds in the muscles.
I’m considering getting a hotel room near the dr even though it’s only 30mins away just so I can really rest for a cpl of days since I have 3 kids at home & 4 animals. I think it may help. I’m hoping to schedule my surgery by March or April. I am open to suggestions, comments, or support! Thank you!

Anyone with subglandular placement???
Hi! I would like to hear from others with subglandular implants. Do you like them? Any issues? I’ve only read a few stories with subglandular placement. After a lot of researching most drs say either placement is fine but then some only do one or the other. I really want to do subglandular but love to hear others stories:) I’m hoping to book my surgery soon for April! thank you!

Omg!! Finally a like minded person! I'm getting a lift w implants and am adamant on getting them over the muscle! The under the muscle implants w a lift look like the droop down on the bottom. Best way I can describe this is a snoopy nose or a mr. snuffleufgus nose! What reasons are you wanting over the muscle? I'd love to hear!

I went over the muscle. I feel the same as you about how they look under. But also for me my dr recommended over the muscle. I didn’t want the full anchor lift so she said to go over. I did the donut lift to pull my nipples up & have a minor lift. I’m not super perky but I’m not 18 anymore lol I’m 36, I want to look natural. Other than my scars still healing I look very natural & proportional. :)

Anyone look similar to me & just get implants without a lift?
I have saw stories & before & after a similar to mine without a lift but I have had 3 consultations all saying I need a lift. I’m struggling with the thought of all the cuts/scars. I feel like I would have already possibly had the surgery if I have a regular breast augmentation. Would love to hear your story :)

I had B/A with a lift on Feb 18/21, so just over 2 weeks po. Best decision ever. The lift gives beautiful results. I’m 49 5’6” 117lbs and breastfed 2 kids. I’m very active, cardio and weight train 6 days a week, so body is very lean and toned, but breasts lost all volume and sagged to the point that I didn’t feel attractive with my unpleasant breasts. Now I have beautiful full and more than perky breasts and couldn’t be happier. I went with 350 hp mentor silicone. Recovery was a breeze, I was expecting a lot worse due to the extra incisions with the lift, but my overall pain was a 2 out of 10. I also had the lollipop lift which is lot less invasive than the anchor lift. And my PS also used the split muscle technique, which is partial under (the upper pole) and lower pole is over the muscle. This technique also has an easier recovery, has less chance of capsular contracture and animation deformity. I’m only 2 weeks in, so only time will tell if I develop any of those complications, but hoping not!! If you invest in a excellent PS you will have beautiful results. Good luck. (PS. Sorry I’m one of the chickens out there who hasn’t posted any pics of my journey. Wish I was braver on that front!!)

Thank you!!! I know I’m going to do it but I’m having trouble getting up the nerve. being put to sleep and the cuts scare me so much. I hope you continue to have it so easy! That’s awesome! Some of the stories and pictures scare me!

Anytime! Also my PS told me that BA with lift is a very difficult surgery, so make sure you research your PS extensively, focusing on lift procedures not just BA. They are 2 completely different surgeries and you can’t compare the two to each other. Also, some PS will say they can’t do both procedures at the same time and you will have to have a second operation later. I would recommend staying away from a PS that says that. I understand your concern about anesthesia, but it is safe, and the anesthesiologist stays at your side during the entire operation monitoring your vitals and making sure you are safe. Some of the stories on here can be scary but they are educating us to make better decisions and do extensive research. Can’t wait to follow your journey!!

I went to a consultation in 2018 and the doctor said I was borderline. I could get the lift with best results but didnt need it. Then I decided 2021 I was getting the surgery. Went for a additional consultation with the same Surgeon. He said I needed the lift this time. However I went through with the surgery regardless. I am 1 week post op today and I am soooo glad I did not get the lift. I think my results are very nice. I got 350cc behind the muscle.

Hi! Thanks for your comment! Do you have your story posted on here? I’d love to read it & see before & after pics. I feel like i see a lot of similar before pics that look like mine who do not do a lift & look great afterwards but after 3 drs telling me that I need a lift I’m afraid not too

Yea most of the post I’ve read are either under the muscle or dual plane where it’s kinda both. I have had a consultation yet but I was thinking maybe dual plane would be good for me.
