3 months down!

I am loving my new boobs! I’m back at the gym, back running and my nipple sensitivity is finally calming down. I had a few spitting stitches but the nurses at Elanic sorted that right out for me. A lot softer now and just getting used to buying all these clothes I want now!

32 Yo, Asymmetric Breasts, One Lift and Two Implants

I, like many, have been considering implants for years due to the unevenness of my breasts. Lockdown gave me a lot of time for thinking and I guess now was the time!

I spoke to a few providers but knew Elanic from word of mouth and working in Glasgow so gave them a call. From the start all the staff were so friendly and helpful. I had a phone consultant with Mr Sirvarajan during which we discussed my photos, options and risks. After this I scheduled a face to face consultation and got to see my own 3D scan which was really helpful!

Given the size difference I was able to get my surgery with some of the recent Covid restrictions still in place - NHS would have most likely covered my surgery but has a very long wait and I’m lucky enough to be able to pay. We decided on an uplift on my bigger breast with 225cc implant, while 300cc would be placed in my smaller breast and the crease lowered slightly to try and even up my nipples more.

My surgery day my dedicated nurse Lisa was so so nice. We got chatting straight away about everything from walking, oat cakes, IKEA furniture and the joy of tea! I was in at 10am and I was back home for 2pm at the latest. Everyone was brilliant and I had regular contact with nurses. I was lucky that Lisa was back on when I went in for my one week update so I got to see a friendly face again.

I’m not three weeks later and I don’t think I’m used to having boobs yet! I know there are a few more weeks of recovery and settling to come but I’m really happy with them. Once I can get back to my beloved running then I think I’ll be back to normal!

I’ll try and keep updating my photos if that helps anyone :)
