Very happy with how their settling and how the scars are healing. The left side sat higher for about three weeks longer than the right side before it started to drop. They’ve softened and starting to feel like “normal” breasts.

Amazing results! I'm 6 weeks post-op myself. Are you using any scar gel or tapes?

Scars healing nicely. Swelling starting to go down. Getting a little softer everyday! Some mild soreness here and there but haven’t needed to take anything for it. Wearing some sort of tape 24/7 that’s the surgeons gave me and said to use for 30 days before using silicone strips but scars are so tiny it seems like they will heal very inconspicuously. Recovery has been really breezy!

How have you helped the swelling go down?
massaging, cold cans of La Croix, and a compression band I found on Amazon.
What tape are you using? Does it have a name? Your results look great so far!
It’s 3M micropore.
Ok I’ll have to search online for it. Thanks
Cold cans of La Croix lol

32 Y/o Mom Breast Lift with 300cc Implant

I knew I wanted a lift or implants at some point after having my son. I put it off thinking I’d do it when I was done having kids. After 2020 decided that life is too short to wait for what I want so in January 2021 I started to really take it seriously. I browsed RealSelf a lot and went into my consultation open minded about lift, implants, both, etc. I choose Dr. Ballard after reading her bio. I liked that she went for natural results and was a woman. It was the only consultation I had and I felt good about moving forward. Her nurse Shelley is great and you feel prepared and informed from the initial consultation and subsequent appointments. At my consultation, she showed me what the lift only would look like and I ended up deciding on implants. Although I wanted perky rather than larger I chose the 300cc over the 250cc because after everything l read on RealSelf and other sites, there were way more women regretted going smaller than larger. Because of that, I chose the 300cc because, if I’m doing it anyway, why not. Surgery day came and was a breeze. Such a fantastic team of women from the nurses to the anesthesiologist I couldn’t have asked for a better morning. Within 10 minutes of waking up, I was on my way home. The nurse told me she’d never seen someone so coherent and released that quickly but I was also told that after my C-Section so maybe I get lucky with an awesome team or maybe my body is great at recovering, who knows. Day 1 I mostly rested. Slight pain, mostly pressure. They are waaay bigger than I want right now, especially from the side. I’m anxious for the fluff and drop so I can get an idea of how they will look. Day 2 I went to the zoo. It felt good to walk around and be in the sun. only had some slight bleeding and by the end of the day I had removed the gauze and haven’t bled since. Day 3 relaxed at home. Bruising started to show up. Day 4 I didn’t take any pain meds to see if I could get through the day. Most of what I feel is soreness and pressure and a lot of itchiness at the incisions. Little bit more bruising. More mobility in my arms. Tightness gets better each day. My post-op is tomorrow so excited to see how they say things are looking.

Thank you for sharing! You look already fantastic. I'm going in on Tuesday for the same procedure. I'm so scared, never had surgery, but your positive experience makes me feel better.
Good luck to you on Tuesday! Hope all goes well, each day gets better and better and recovery has been a breeze.
Great results!! What size were you before the surgery?
I wore a 32C bra but wasn’t quite filling it out as much after some weight loss, so between a B and C cup
What did you pay all together for the implants
$9800
We have very similar post op pics. I feel ginormous right now. Don't even want to leave the house lol like you, the day of surgery I decided to go up slightly in size. Originally planned for 280cc surgeon ended up doing 325 and 345 to get to a full C. I need them to not look so torpedo-ish and buff. I hate how top heavy I look.
