Ahhh photos didn't update

Took me ages to add captions and no upload - will try again - no captions but basically photos are from POD 11 to 22. On day 21 my dressings came off. So scary! Scarring doesn't seem to bad.. lefty is definitely more settled than the right. In the last couple of photos I have been using talcum powder to keep my breasts dry as where I live is really humid. So this covers the scars to some extent, aka don't be deceived by the photos!

Three week update!

Well I have been a little quite for a couple of weeks, as I'm back to my home town, back to work and back to normal life! Happy to say that so far so good, and super happy. I forget sometimes what my old boobs look like and have to look at before photos to remind myself how much they've changed, the difference is crazy :) there will obviously be a lot of changes to come as they drop and fluff and the scars heal up (dressings came off this week). At the moment my right breast is still a bit swollen and the nipple quite coney and outward pointing, hopefully as the implants find their place both nipples will rise a bit and centralise. Armpits still settling from where I had look, such an odd thing as I hadn't really thought about the recovery on these and just assumed that changes would be instant after surgery! Wrong it turns out! At the moment they are hard and lumpy and slightly discoloured still. Strange, but have researched and this seems normal in the recovery period. Could be months before full results, so will wait and see!

Post Op - day 2
Swelling has gone down a tiny bit, though chest is still so tight! and still a fair bit of redness hanging around my armpit area, where fat was lipo'd, the nurse has said this is fine (after I panic emailed her :) and the swelling and redness will go down here soon too. The biggest struggle for me is sleeping, I've always slept on my stomach so trying to fall asleep on my back with pillows propping me up is very difficult. Along with this the compression bra is quite tight, so have been taking 10 minute bare boobies breaks every so often for a bit of a release. At this stage just taking paracetamol and antibiotics, pain is manageable.
