2 months and one week post op

The infection is completely healed and fingers crossed i have had no issues again since the infection. The scars still seem very red to me but I’m trying to be patient with my body. I also still feel the tension of the scar down the middle of my breast is still creating this slightly two boob look that I really don’t like. My doctor told me the tension of the scar will relax and that will go away though so i am just trying to be patient with that. Overall they have dropped a bit since I first got them but I think they look more natural this way which I like. I’m feeling great physically. I have zero pain anymore.

Infection at 5 weeks post surgery

I noticed my breast was getting really red and inflamed by the nipple during week 5 of healing. My surgeon told me it was an infection where one of the sutures were. As it got red and opened a suture that had not dissolved did come out on my bandage .. it was very small and looked like a little tiny piece of plastic. I had no pain but it didn’t freak me out. He started me on two oral antibiotics and a cream antibiotic .. there was only pus on the first day and once i started the antibiotics it was just inflamed .. with it being inflamed it did open the wound more.

Some progress along the way

I wanted to put as many pictures as possible because i know it has been helpful for me to see how other people’s progress and healing has looked. The first week I felt zero pain. I was on vicodin 5mg every 4 hours for 3 days and then tramadol (i can’t remember the dosage) every 6 hours for 5 days. Then i just took Advil. I have had very little pain. My nipples have been very sore and sensitive. I started massaging my breasts per my surgeons advice on 6/12 which was 2 weeks post op. Since I started the massaging it has caused me to have pain in my breasts that was not there before. My surgeon gave me an oil to massage my breasts with and I will include the name on my next update.
