Finally feeling almost normal

Sweetpea624
WORTH IT$9,000
As I reach my 2 week mark for post-op, I must say that each day has improved more and more. I was struggling every time I wold change from my surgery bra to a more supportive close front sports bra, mainly in my side axillary region - I asked my doctor about this during my last appointment to remove all tape coverings from sutures and he explained that I have some internal sutures that he used to help tighten up my pocket (my breasts were falling off towards my armpits when I wold lay down) so I guess that area is more sensitive to pulling. I was able to wear it all day so far today thought without issues. I still haven’t been laying all the way flat when I sleep because I start getting pains in that same area, but little by little I have been reducing my angle at night. Incisions look great so far and I’m really happy with everything! I increased from 425cc to 600cc and although they don’t seem much bigger when I look at them, they sure do in this before and after!

They look great! Yay you!! Hopefully that stitch pain goes away quickly but that is great he did that so they stay put!

Thank you!! And yes, I was so impressed when he told me since it wasn’t discussed prior. I guess a surgeon doesn’t know exactly what they’re up against until everything is opened up and you can see what needs revision.

I can relate to the burning sensation at the incision afterwards. I also had a lift with implants a year ago and experienced that a couple weeks afterwards. I unfortunately have to go in for a revision (this Thursday!) since my left did not fully drop. With my revision, I will also be exchanging the implants for a larger size. I was also thinking of going from my 485 to 600. Are you happy with the increase? Did it seem drastic to you? The number intimidates me but when figuring out size, I don’t think it will be overly large. I am still a bit nervous though! Yours look great! Hope your recovery goes smoothly!

Oh no, so sorry to hear you have to go through a revision! What a pain, but at least you’ll be happier with the results! Thank you for letting me know about your similar experience because I am always worried that maybe something is wrong lol things have been feeling better each day so I think that’s a good sign. As far as the size, I totally had the same reservations as you. I am now in my 30’s as opposed to early 20’s when I first got my breast aug and I don’t care to show a lot of cleavage like I used to (well, time and place haha). So when picking to do 600 it definitely sounded like A LOT. I am very happy with the increase and it doesn’t look drastic at all like I thought it was going to!

Thank you for replying!! You eased my mind a little bit! I'm in my 30's as well, and like you have a time and a place to be revealing haha! May I ask how much of a cup size you went up with the increase? I know everyone is different but I'm assuming it would for sure be a cup increase for sure.

My cup size actually didn't change. I have been wearing a 34D since my first augment and when I tried on the soft bralette (shown in my after pic) and another without an underwire, they both fit just fine. I am filling them out more for sure lol but my nipples aren't about to pop out or anything close. I'm not sure how the bras with underwire will be, but I'm suspecting they'll fit as well! Kind of nice since I was worried about having to buy all new bras. I'm hoping all my sports bras fit as well, but I'll keep you posted :)

Any updates on how their settling?
December 24, 2019
It took about 5-6 weeks for me to finally be able to lay comfortably in bed (whether flat on my back or my sides). Things have settled beautifully thus far and I am so happy with everything!

I get a lot of intense pain in the area of incisions under my breast, which seems to be normal since that’s where my skin would be pulling on. It’s pretty painful trying to sit up. Other than that, pain is pretty minimal when moving around.
