Wonderful experience - so excited for the summer with my new body

I am just at 4 weeks post op today and am feeling great! I am still very happy with how my chest turned out. They've definitely settled from how they were the first two weeks of post op, with less volume in the top now, but that's to be expected, and I like the more natural look to them now. Discomfort and tightness is completely gone and I am back to light leg workouts and cardio. I am still sleeping on my back as it is still the most comfortable position, but will most likely be able to sleep on my side in the next week or so. I'm impressed with how well my scars are healing and how thin they are! They are not raised at all, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they heal in the next few months.

Since I hit puberty, I had always struggled with the insecurity of how low my breasts sat on my chest. I hated having to wear a bra with every cute outfit and was unhappy with how I looked when I didn't wear one. I knew I wanted to get a breast lift at some point, but wanted to be cautious about where and who I trusted with this transformation. And I am so happy that I was able to find Dr. Askari!
The booking process was super easy. I requested a consultation and was able to speak with Dr. Askari over the phone in the about next 3 days. I expressed that I was happy with the size of my chest, just not where they sat, so Dr. Askari recommended I have a breast lift with an auto-augmentation to help raise and even out the breasts. We also included a internal dissolvable mesh bra to help support my breasts after they begin to heal and settle. I had spoken with a few other surgeons in the Miami area and felt like they were trying to guide me towards implants (which I knew I didn't want) or they spoke to me in a way that made me feel like just another number for them, and that was not the feeling I got at all from Dr. Askari. He was very welcoming and very knowledgeable without it coming off as harsh or cold so I felt like I would be in great hands!
From the consultation, to pre-op necessities, to the day of surgery, everyone at the office was so welcoming and helpful! I was able to reach out at any point to a text thread I had with the office with any questions. Since I was traveling from out of state, it was great to be able to ask any and all questions at any point and know I was going to get a quick response! These women, Ely, Monica, and Mary, were so incredible and helped ease my nerves as surgery day crept closer!
Pre-op and the day of surgery went very smoothly, with a short meeting with Dr. Askari both days to discuss goals and what he was going to do during surgery before going under. Again, his bed side manner was very comforting and professional and it just made me feel better every time I got to talk to him. This was my first time going under and my nurses were all so supportive and kind which helped me feel my best before getting on the table! After surgery, my chest was definitely tight and a bit sore for the first few days, but was easily managed with some regular strength Tylenol. I had help from a private nurse and my boyfriend the first few days getting around and taking medications, which made the healing process so much easier.
Right now I'm about a week post-op and I feel great, with only a little bit of tightness across my chest that comes and goes. I'm absolutely in love with my results as well! Dr. Askari's attention to detail and care really shows with how big of a difference there is. I knew that with a breast lift, you don't always get the top volume to the breast like with an implant, but I think my results came out great with a ton of volume. I can't wait to see them as they settle in the coming months, and I'm so excited for the summer with my new body!
