My skin healing process
So this update is to do with my skin healing, not the surgery.
It turns out I have hypertrophic scars around my left nipple, my right it’s more or less ok and the scars are flat.
Hypertrophic scars are raised and stretched looking scars and look worse than they are. I’m not in pain or anything but they look a bit horrible.
Dr afet is as always on WhatsApp there to help me, and said that it’s a little unusual in someone with as light skin as me but she suggest silicone strips (which I should have been using from the start but didn’t) massage, and if they don’t go steroid injections. But it can take up to a year to sort its self out.
I actually had noticed that even after surgery, my left nipple healed slower than my right, and have heard that can happen with your body, that one side always heals better than the other.
What I don’t want is to have stretched scars, that will really bug me and I would then consider going and getting them cut out and re-stitched.
My right nipple scars and underneath my boobs are actually really nice and flat. So if you heal normally that’s how they should look!
I just have a weird body and didn’t put my strips on or use any cream while healing which was silly!

Look up Linda Dunn carter- she does keyloid scar treatments without lasers and surgery- seems to be effective and easier than a lot of other treatments..
Hi I'm the same especially under my breasts. The scarring is also tender to touch and it's nearly 2 years since my surgery. I'm white caucasian so is unusual
The scarring around my nips is actually getting worse. It’s really raised and hypertrophic, I’m not sure what the hecks causing it but it’s awful. The strips don’t help either x

Hey, I had a lift and implants last January so over a year ago, I’ve got scars worse than your :-( I’ve tried silicone strips, kelo cote gel and other things but nothing seems to work. I’m thinking about getting them cut out but I’ve been told they can grow back. It’s absolutely s*** having gone through all this to have horrible scars. Just thought I’d let you know your not the only one But hopefully you’ve caught it in time so it doesn’t get worse ❤️
Hey! I know right, its a bit disappointing isn't it! Totally feel your pain there. Apparently our bodies are all so different that some of us scar worse than others, just because of our skin type. F**king typical i was one of them. But you know what, im so happy with the shape i have, so i would still have done it any day over the boobs i had! Xx

Hey guys!
Here’s a quick picky update!
I have complete feeling back in my left nipple!! Wahoo!
My right nipple, the side that had the slight reduction, is getting there! They say you feel pain before you get feeling back, so that’s what I feel when I touch it, tenderness the same as I felt in the left before that came back!
See my previous posts for my previous updates about that!
I’m also starting to feel again on the skin down the side of the right boob where she took breast tissue out, so far it was completely numb but when I squeeze the skin now i feel pain which is brilliant because that’s the part I most worried about!
Scar wise you can see they’ve gone right down. I actually haven’t been religious with the scar cream, but the scars actually swelled for a few weeks which was weird, so I started using the cream I was supposed to have been using and they went down! See the large picky below for the result.
My scars swelled in places for a few weeks but I used the scar cream and they went down a bit!
So yeah! I shall keep updating when I see or feel changes!

Breast shape is fantastic! Scaring is still very prominent though. Hopefully this continues to fade and heal.
