Really nothing new to report other than the open spot under my left breast has healed. To be totally honest I haven’t messed around anymore with scar treatments. I am pleased with how they are healing on their own. I still check the incisions every day but overall I am super happy with my result. I will see my PS next week to talk about implants but I’m leaning towards no for now.
On a side note I work in healthcare and got my first Covid vaccine (Pfizer). I had a sore arm for a couple days, Tylenol was my friend but no other side effects. Next shot is on the 30th. I highly recommend everyone get the vaccines when it is available to y’all. I will update after I get the second one only because they say that one is the brutal one...

Scar Treatment

Let me start by saying I have had a very smooth recovery and would do it again. I did however have my upside down “T” incision under my left breast opened up a little. I caught it very early and sent pics to my PS. I cannot emphasize enough to TAKE PICTURES EVERY DAY IN SAME LIGHTING and all angles. I started out using the vitamin E ointment which did a great job. I switched to the ScarAway silicone strips a couple weeks ago. I really am not sure why I switched other than I used them with my TT. As you can see from my pics it was a very small hole. I actually felt a stitch poking through. My PS told me to stop the silicone strips immediately and start using Triple Antibiotic ointment and cover with gauze. I have been doing that since December 8 or 9 and as you can see it did wonders. It’s not completely healed but most of my scars are really nonexistent. My right breast is PERFECT! I will try to do an updated pic in a week. I am still so happy I did this. You can say I am still obsessed lol.

Hello I was a 32DDD and was measured at a 34D but I can actually wear the 32DDD and not have boob seepage or overflow lol.

It's been interesting tracking my progress against yours! I had my surgery Nov. 2 - am getting back to more intense workouts but finding I'm really feeling it under my arms around my chest and not in a good muscle sore way. I'll need to check in with my doc to make sure I'm not putting myself at risk. My skin still feels tight and can feel a bit numb - which I'm told is pretty normal - so not sure if the extra pressure from the workouts is harmful or just normal because the skin is still tight. I wake up with some sharp pains after a hard workout. For scar gel, my surgeon recommended Vivier Scar Gel (once my wounds were healed) and its been phenomenal... My healing is looking good - pleased with scar progress.

Definitely check with your PS. I can't say I ever had any sharp pains just a soreness in my chest wall. As for workouts I can now bend over for the calf stretches and not feel like I'm pulling on anything. I do still watch how much weight I lift. Is the scar stuff you use something you can buy online or did you get it from your surgeon? I need to make a new update soon. It's so nice to be able to compare notes and bounce things off of each other since we are so close in surgery dates. Happy Healing!

thank you for this detailed and honest post; you are right to be delighted! I think I may need lipo on the side with mine and I am older but if I can get results anywhere like yours I'm in! If you get around to it please post some long term pics; even if you don't, I appreciate your generosity in sharing

32DDD TO 34D

I went bra shopping yesterday. I went to VS and had the one associate measure me. She ended up saying I was a 34D. I was disappointed due to Covid the fitting rooms were closed. I picked out 4 push-up bras because they are my favorite. I was however very worried because I couldn’t try on first but also excited to get home and try them on. To my surprise they fit. The test will be me wearing the bra all day to see if the girls stay in place. I will do an update on that this week.

I went shopping for wireless bras yesterday and OMG! What an incredible feeling to put on a wireless bra and the girls are popping out, falling forward and together or just generally all over the place. Thanks for all your updates...I refer back to your posts like a guide to my recovery :)
