Breast Lift & Reduction

First time plastic surgery patient and I found this experience to be pleasant, structured and helpful. From the moment I entered the lobby on consultation day, I knew the experience would be on the luxurious side. Dr. Pirko was respectful of me and my body (not a given unfortunately) and had such a wonderful and calming presence. Hot off the heels of dealing with the world's meanest Kaiser surgeon - this was a breath of fresh air. He worked to understand my actual desired outcome and then I was brought into the office to complete my scheduling process. Prior to the actual surgery you are given lists of helpful items and supplements, they collect your bloodwork and have several phone / Klara messaging check-ins to give you information and answer any pending questions. On surgery day it's pretty simple - you're met with a nurse who walks you through getting ready for surgery and then you're marked by Dr. Pirko who then ASKS YOU if you're happy with the markings and if you agree with his approach. I love it. I woke up with 8/10 pain but they quickly fed me applesauce and hit my IV with pain meds - at no point from that point on did I ever hit higher than a 5 on the pain scale and I was done with taking pain pills by day 3 and Tylenol by day 5. It really does matter who your surgeon is. I'm currently 17 days post op and have not yet seen my final result but I can already tell this is exactly what I asked for. A lift and reduction with a goal of a B cup - for reference I was a 32H prior to surgery. I'm excited to be a member of the "Perky by Pirko" club and I will be back for a tummy tuck since I'm 85 lbs down with about 20 more to go. You can tell when your surgeon actually likes women and respects them. Thank you Dr. Pirko if you ever read this - you have truly changed my life!
