Dr. Pirko is an excellent surgeon. He always focuses on patient well-being, listens with great attention, and always puts health and safety first. I 100% recommend him to anyone considering plastic surgery his clinic and his team are outstanding.

After having 3 kids I was left with very damaged and loose skin, plus due to my family's genetics, our skin is SUPER thin. Once I was determined not not have more babies, I started looking into getting a tummy tuck. I found out about Dr. Pirko through a family member and went in for a consultation. Once you walk into his facility it's like walking into a relaxing spa, the office is super clean, smells refreshingly amazing! Making changes to your body can sometimes be scary and I had lots of questions and concerns, but Dr. Pirko was very professional, he answered all of my questions and concerns. So I went ahead and booked my surgery. Once surgery day came, all of his surgical team was very kind and caring as they prepared me for my surgery. Right out of surgery I really never had pain (only took pain meds for like 3-4 days but I really was never in pain from my surgery incision). However, my main discomfort was being hunched over. My skin was so tight it took me about a month and a half to start walking straight. I will also mention that at about one month post op, a small section of the incision opened up at one of the ends (side), one of his nurses told me it was a common issue especially at the ends but after reviewing the opening, it was not infected and was given instructions on how to care for it and help it heal. I have been seeing Dr. Pirko for my regular follow up appointments. My incision looks clean (keep in mind my skin is very delicate). I still have redness which should get better over time. I am really happy with my results, now I want to focus on working out so I can maintain and enhance my body more. Updated on 9 Mar 2023: 2.5 months post op, still healing.

My first impression was that a kind, smiling sweet man with a ray of glow and care. I had a list of questions to ask, but he answered all questions before having to ask. He was comforting, clear on details, expectations, side effects, and provided several 24hr contact numbers.I had a mommy makeover and my stomach looks amazing and my breast as well. I feel like a model. The entire staff was so kind, providing clear instructions and assuring me that I would be looking beautiful. Everyone is beautiful, caring, and happy. I’ve been to many doctors, nurses, assistants, and never have they all been so kind, and they reflect how much they care. Beautiful, beautiful people. I and my spouse are returning for additional plastic surgery from the best. You are all angels.

The reviews and research read about Dr. Pirko were the only ones I depended on to entrust my face to him for an upper blepharoplasty. Aside from the fear of someone I do not know touching my face, I must admit that even if I am in the medical field (nurse practitioner and an RN working in PACU) I was so scared to go under the knife with a local anesthesia. Here is an honest review: Front Desk/ staff/ office: Front desk team and the “whole” staff is superb! From telephone manners to greeting every customer that steps in- you will feel a welcoming environment without discrimination, to scheduling me for an earlier date! The assistant/nurse of Dr. Pirko during the procedure is very professional, kind and will make you feel comfortable and less anxious. The office is very clean, very nice and relaxing! I feel like I wanted to stay there the whole day, a nice place to de stress. Such very positive energy! I believe their website is one of the few cosmetic surgery clinics( if not the only one) that provides transparency with the prices for their services and in my opinion , they are able to do this because of the fact that their prices are reasonable and fair just like the blepharoplasty I got. You would not feel intimidated or have worries if you are thinking of going beyond your budget. Procedure: During the procedure, though injecting the local anesthesia was quite painful, Dr. Pirko is gifted of such gentleness, that is worth noting (a true surgeon indeed). We had little conversations that calmed my nerves down. The first 3 days post procedure was a miserable experience. Dr. Pirko was so right, he told me that the 3rd day is the worst and it was! I was swollen all over and felt some fear if my face would ever come back to normal again. My trust to my surgeon (Dr. Pirko) made so much difference that all is good and kept me hoping that things will get better. The fourth day onwards my eyes got better and better! There was a lot of improvement in my upper eyelids and without any complications! Thanks be to God! To God be the glory through the hands of this surgeon! Dr. Pirko Maguina: Qualities/impressions (I admire) with the short time I spent with him: a very humble, grounded and down to earth doctor! I had been in the medical field for 10+ years and had encountered different personalities of health professionals. His humility and being grounded (I believe) stems from the fact that he has done so many medical missions to developing countries needing his expertise…and this changed my perception on cosmetic surgeons. Dr. Pirko is such a blessing to the world and no wonder the blessings comes back to him abundantly. Dr. Pirko is professional, pleasant, accepting (no judgements/ discrimination) from the time I met him through a virtual consultation which I did not see much from another doctor I consulted with. Dr. Pirko treated me like her sister ( as he assured me during the procedure) and it felt good that you feel like you are not alone during the first miserable days of post procedure as he made himself available, gave his number if any problem comes up. Dr. Pirko won the best doctor award 2019 in Sacramento. From the time he injected the lidocaine to measuring my eyelids, marking it and cutting me with his knife, I can tell he is par excellence! May God continue to bless and keep Dr. Pirko and his A team!

BREAST REDUCTION: Dr. Pirko has definitely changed my life... his work is impeccable and outstanding but most of all, his basic humanity makes his a work of excellence. His staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They sincerely care for their patients and make sure all questions and doubts are answered.The post-op visits have been frequent and helpful throughout the healing process. I would encourage anyone looking to improve their quality of life through plastic surgery to do so under Dr. Pirko’s and his staff’s care.

I've generally been in shape but as I've gotten older my definition had gone away. So I reached out to Dr Pirko about 7 months ago. He was clear on what to expect and went to expect it. He has seen me on every follow-up. I'm very happy with my progress.

I've been wanting to "fix" my ears since I was a kid! I've been nicknamed Minnie Mouse and been teased about how ears stick out even in adulthood. Working in an industry where I have to put my hair back, my ears were an insecurity I had to face every single day. I finally decided to get an otoplasty, or an ear pinning surgery, to help resolve my issue. I chose to Dr. Pirko and his staff because they made me feel welcome the moment I stepped in their beautiful clinic. They accommodated my schedule and even let me know when another sooner slot opened up to get me in sooner for the procedure. The day of surgery seemed like a breeze. The nurse, Lisa, was so so kind and so calming. Because of COVID-19, extra guests weren't allowed to accompany and wait around. Lisa couldn't have done a better job at making sure I was relaxed and comfortable. The anesthesiologist did a great job as well-I woke up after my procedure without any discomfort. Dr. Pirko was kind as always. I originally wanted a more dramatic ear pinning, but Dr. Pirko advised me to go for something more natural , and if I didn't like the results he would gladly pin them back further. We have had post-op appointments 1 day, 1 week, and 6 weeks after surgery. My recovery was easy and went well. Now that my ears are settling, I do think I will want them to be further pinned or at least fix one of the shapes of my ears. Dr. Pirko warned that my ears won't be perfectly symmetrical, but I truly believe something can be done so that the shape of both ears are more similar, like they were before. I'll have to wait a few more months to finish healing before revisiting that option. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Dr. Pirko's practice. All of the staff are excellent and I truly believe Dr. Pirko wants what is best for his patients.

My experience with Dr Pirko was amazing ! I went to see him for a consult and after a great discussion decided to move forward with a facelift! I am Not going to lie, I was scared! I was worried about looking pulled or not like myself! It was a wonderful experience! The surgery was a breeze, the recovery was easy and the results amazing! I had the procedure on a Thursday and actually went back to work on Monday. I had very little bruising and am 8 mos post op and have never been happier! All of my fears were for nothing. I am beyond happy with my results!

I got Botox in my forehead and in my masseters from Dr. Pirko. I had an eyebrow imbalance from previous Botox (different doctor) and Dr. Pirko fixed me right up! I’m back to being symmetrical!! He also did about 5 units in each masseter to improve teeth grinding...something I highly recommend if you wake up with migraines from grinding your teeth every night. It was the easiest Botox I’ve ever received, I barely felt a thing- which usually it’s a little more “pinchy”. His staff is so kind and Dr. Pirko is an attentive listener. I appreciate that he practices full disclosure before a procedure and educated me on potential risks and side effects- instead of taking my money and hoping for the best. I truly feel that Dr. Pirko cares. I have an otoplasty scheduled with him in a few weeks and he’s done everything he can to make sure I’m prepared and relaxed before the procedure. He has taken into account every concern I have about the surgery and what I hope to be accomplished. It is “hospital” clean, but smells AMAZING- giving it a relaxing spa vibe versus a cold hospital vibe. The smell alone made me want to stick around for a few hours!
