6 month update
Now at 6 months, I feel little has changed since 90 days. My scarring is still present, but a little more faint, and the incisions continues to heal without any abnormality. My body feels more balanced and proportioned. I continue to be happy with my results and would recommend this clinic for the procedures I had done.
Breast Lift, 360 Abdominal Liposuction and Mini Abdominoplasty
After deciding to have cosmetic surgery in Korea, I researched many clinics in Seoul and kept returning to Girin Plastic Surgery. They were highly recommended by multiple sources, and their patients seemed particularly happy with liposuction results, one of the procedures I planned to undergo. Girin also stood out for their experience with foreign patients, which made me feel much more at ease about this big decision.
The clinic was easy to locate, and communication through WhatsApp was seamless. The staff truly listened to what I wanted and supported my decisions throughout. All pre-op appointments went smoothly. Everyone, especially the translator Anna, was friendly, flexible, and kind. My consultations included a care manager, the translator, and each of the surgeons who would perform my procedures. The surgeons were professional, thorough, and made time to answer all my questions.
I ultimately decided on a breast lift, 360-degree abdominal liposuction, and a mini tummy tuck. The medical team worked with my schedule to perform all three procedures at once. After surgery, I stayed overnight with a nurse who monitored my recovery and provided medication. The first 24 hours were the most uncomfortable, but my pain was manageable with the medication provided, and I improved daily. Though tender, bruised, and swollen initially, the results were already noticeable.
Follow-ups at days 2 and 7 allowed the staff to monitor my recovery closely. By day 14, I was moving easily and feeling much better. My stitches were removed a few days later, and the swelling had significantly decreased. At 30 days I felt mostly healed and noticed the most significant progress as my abdominal swelling had decreased.
Now, at day 90, I feel great. I have absolutely no restrictions, can move freely, and have resumed my normal activities and physical exercise. My scarring is now more of a faint, light pink and the incision is healing nicely without any abnormality. My body feels more balanced—my liposuction and mini tummy tuck have restored my proportions, and my clothes now fit perfectly. I have received complements on my physique, and though I am not perfect, I feel the tummy tuck and breast lift has dramatically improved my appearance. I am now at my pre-baby self. While I chose not to have my abdominal muscles altered and plan to work on my core strength myself, I’m incredibly happy with the results and there's certainly no complaints from my husband.
