WORTH IT
I had my breast augmentation back in December 2020 and it was the decision going with Dr. Martin Jugenburg. My breasts look perfect and I am SO HAPPY with my results!!!!! I love the way they make my body look and also how much more confident I feel in my own skin.
I decided on high profile 335 cc under the muscle silicone implants with the incision under my breast fold. I went in and tried on a few sizes in the provided bra and decided that 335 was the best size for me and my body as I am pretty thin (I weighed 102 pounds the day of surgery). It was a great experience, everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Both nurse amazing and Dr Jugenburg made me feel comfortable and confident with my choice.
When going in for surgery it was a very easy process and the surgery itself was extremely quick. When waking up from the anaesthesia I was able to talk normally and felt like myself and was in absolutely no pain. The first night of recovery went smoothly, I slept throughout the night but needed the help of others to get up to go to the bathroom and to bring me water etc. I felt tightness in my chest and the next day I felt sore on my chest but nothing unbearable. I would rate it a three out of ten.
Through recovery I did feel bloated but did not suffer any constipation which he said might happen which was great lol. I was provided with pain medication but only needed it for 3 days. I also did not need to take all of the pills, I only took two per day for the three days and then I no longer needed it as there was little to no pain.
The first three days were the most painful and uncomfortable with my chest feeling tight and sore and a bit tender. I began to feel sore in my under arms but I think that was due to me really being careful not to move my arms too much at all. I took the healing instructions seriously and did not raise my hand over my head for I believe it was two or three weeks. I did not do any heavy lifting for over six weeks and not work out at all either during my healing. I also was carrying using my pectoral muscles at all especially in the first three weeks.
The first three days were the most difficult as I felt sore and tight in my chest and under arms. Following that every day got extremely easier. By the tenth day of my recovery I felt fully like myself again.
You need to sleep on your back for six weeks so I found it helpful to sleep in between two big pillows to make sure I didn’t roll over on my stomach as I am a stomach sleeper. I wore the bra that was provided to me and bought a few more front close bras that I wore the 6 weeks while healing. I still enjoy wearing those bras when sleeping or working out. My incisions are also super tiny and I am so happy with how they have healed. My incision was under the breast fold and now that my breasts are fully healed you can’t see them AT ALL as my breast hides them perfectly in the fold. Even when I lift my arms and you can see the scar it is very light and small and will just continue to get lighter in colour as time goes on.
My stitches dissolved by themselves so I didn’t have to go back in to get them taken out. I went back in a week after surgery to get checked and they said everything was healing great. I did do chest compressions to stretch out the bottom of my breast and for them to drop to look more natural. I was also told to do a sternum massage. I was so happy with my healing as it more uncomfortable then painful. My mom and best friend who were with me were also shocked with how easy my recovery was.
The weeks following my surgery I could continue to see my breasts fall and become more ‘fluffy’. They got softer and at 4 months they had dropped significantly and began to look and feel more natural. I am so happy with the results and feel so much more confident in my body. Dr Martin Jugenburg and his team did an amazing job and I highly recommend going with them. I wish I would have done it sooner! I just went in for my one year post op which went great. My breasts are fully healed and look amazing! I was a 32 a before I had surgery and now I am a 32D or DD depending on the bra. I highly recommend this clinic and could not be happier with my results. I feel like my breasts have always been a part of my body and I feel so much for confident, happy and feminine in my body. I am SO HAPPY and absolutely in love with my breasts after the surgery. Highly recommend!
