1 day post op versus 1.5 months
1.5 months and my boobs finally feel apart of me! I no longer have the heaviness in my chest when I wake up and get off my bed however my saline implants still feel “hard” almost like my breast are engorged with milk. Certain positions makes my breasts and implants feel softer but I can also feel the saline implant and I don’t like how it feels. Sometimes I wonder if I chose the wrong type. I know since I have little breast tissue anything foreign won’t feel as natural but I guess I was hoping for it to feel softer than right now. I was also hoping to have more bottom fullness but the way my nipples sit, it can’t happen :( overall I am sooo very happy I went for it. My confidence is much higher now that I don’t have to worry about gaping when I bend over and wearing padded bras. Just trust the process and everything will fall into place
1 month po
Wow it’s already been a month. I’m feeling really happy about how they’re settling into my incision crease. I think my right is dropping faster. Sleeping is no longer uncomfortable but sleeping on my side still feels weird (I keep thinking they will slide away lol) I am doing my daily massages for 1 minute each side twice a day and arm stretches. My doctor says it’ll help with the drop and fluff. I am not wearing any bras and I love the feeling. On days I want to dress more modest I do wear a wire free bralette.
Having caffeine again yay!
I haven’t had any caffeinated drinks for about 2.5 weeks and I finally had a cup of coffee today. It feels soooo good haha. ( I was told not to have caffeine-containing drinks before surgery since they may elevate your blood pressure and can increase the risk of bleeding and I haven’t had it after as well)
I am in an amazing mindset since my follow up and I can’t believe how incredibly fast I am recovering. I did laundry, I vacuumed/mopped the house, cooked and my favorite trying on clothes that never fit me in the breast area until now. I am taking things slowly - not lifting beyond 5/ 10 pounds for a minute or so and resting when needed. I’ll post some pictures I took yesterday in clothes because I still don’t like how they look without -however I’m positive I will once they drop and fluff.
