Post -Op Follow up

Today was my first post op with Dr. Typically she sees her patients the day after surgery but since mine was the day before Thanksgiving we had to wait.

So - all is going very well. She said they look like they are healing great and the incision looks like it is healing nicely. She gave me a strap to wear to push them implants down and get them settling. She does not want them to come any closer in towards the center though.

Wants me to wear the surgical bra and strap as much as possible during the day but it’s ok to spend time without them. But must see both every night while sleeping.

No cardio for the first 3-4 weeks. She will see me back 12/11 and see how things are going. I hope she clears me to get moving then!

Small achievements!

The pst few days have been really good. I was so apprehensive about Lin and whatnot before but it’s turned out to be really easy. Yesterday I went back to Percocet every 4 hours - the paid really caught up with me and I decided I’d rather be comfortable than try to be a hero!
I messaged my dr yesterday and asked if I could go without the surgical bra and she said during the day that is fine but I must wear it at night. I thought that was only fair! So I went braless for several hours and really enjoyed it.

My surgical bra is quite tight and so taking it off makes the girls feel like they can breath. Not to mention they are incredibly fun to look at. I’m so in love. I actually rented a nice big comfy electric recliner before my surgery and have been sleeping in that and I have to say - best decision. It has made sleep a non issue. Is very comfy, I don’t have any back pain upon waking and o sleep great. Slept for a full 8 hours last night without taking another Percocet too!!

Today was great - braless most of the day. Tried on some clothes - bought a new sports bra and walked around a ton. My pec muscles did get really tired by mid afternoon though and so I came home and iced them. I also cut back on the perc today. Took one in the am, the. Tylenol extra strength 6 hours layer. Ended p taking a Percocet about 10 hours after the one this morning. I hope tomorrow I can make it all day on just the Tylenol.

Nothing like I thought!

So far day 2 has been pretty great. 6 hours between pain pills. I got to remove my wrap and shower today then put on a sports bra.

They look great for their current state. Lots of dropping to do still. The craziest part is the amount of bloating I have in my abdominals. I’m so bloated that you can’t see a single piece of definition - it’s just round and shapeless. I hope that clears up soon.

Dr. Was GREAT! Made me feel comfortable and at ease every step of the way. The consultation was easy and relaxed and she listened to all of my questions and concerns. The, after scheduling my surgery Andy pre-op appointment I still had some questions. Dr. Met with me for over an hour at the last minute to make sure I had all the info I needed. Day of surgery was great. She has a dedicated team that works with her on all of her breast aug procedures and an anesthesiologist as well. Surgery went great and I am so thankful for her and all of her team. I am so excited and happy to have undergone this procedure. I will 100% recommend her to anyone looking to get a brat aug - and probably any other procedures as well.
