Trading my 32DDD for smaller implants

Stop what you are doing, stop scrolling and read this!! Selecting a surgeon is a big deal. We all hear the nightmare experiences people have, the botched jobs and the horrid tales of recovery. Those seem to stick with us all and we rarely remember the good experiences people have...but I’m hoping this ONE story will stick with you. I know we are all busy so I will try to make this to the point to respect your time. How do you select a surgeon? Price? Reviews? Friend recommendation? I think these are all normal considerations when making a life-changing choice. But what if I told you there may be a better way? I have been considering 2 procedures for many years. Trading my 32DDD for smaller implants and correcting my hooded eyes. For years I have been hearing “you have to go to 2 different doctors for the procedures”. Life is busy so I put it off. Too much time would need to be invested in researching 2 doctors, 2 different procedures, too many consultations. Who has that kind of time? In 2019, a routine mammogram revealed I had a 6mm mass in my breast. This sent me back to get another mammogram which then sent me to get an ultrasound. The results of the ultrasound suggested I get an MRI with contrasting dye. This revealed the mass was a lymph node. THANK GOD. You do a lot of soul searching during a time like this (the process between the first mammogram and the MRI was about 8 weeks). During my quest for diagnosis, I decided that if I needed to have a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery, I would inquire on who has done the best jobs. So on every visit to the hospital, I asked everyone I came in contact with “You see a lot of boobs, who has done the best breast augmentations?”. It is an unorthodox way of finding a surgeon, but these workers see boobs, every day, all day. What I found was that women are generally nervous during routine exams so they will talk during the process about their boobs, their surgeons, and about their experiences. What better people to ask for recommendations than the folks that hear it all day??!!! Dr. Messa was always the name repeated person after person after person. I knew by the time I got my MRI – I needed to go meet with Dr. Messa. I made a consultation appointment with him and to my pleasure- it was a pretty long wait to get to see him- he was BOOKED! (another great sign). During this time, I looked at his website and clicked through the eyelid gallery. I saw ladies that looked JUST LIKE ME and couldn’t believe the difference the procedure made! So I decided to inquire about that as well. My consultation came, and I knew walking through the doors this was my surgeon. The staff was so warm and welcoming, and I LOVED Dr. Messa from hello. He made me feel like I was his only patient that day, and it was just a consultation! I booked both procedures and when the day came, I was overwhelmed with how comfortable everyone made me feel. Dr. Messa, the Anesthesiologist, the recovery nurse Jill, I mean, I would list the entire staff here. Not only did they do an amazing job surgically, but the mental compassion they gave me was just as important as the surgical procedure. Even during the follow up appointments. My point in sharing this story is that you don’t need to look any further than Weston Cosmetic Surgery Center. I would encourage you to steal from my experience. I can’t be more supportive of Dr. Messa and his staff, make the consultation and see for yourself.
