Recovery

It’s been pretty great honestly. My only issue has been with sleeping. I am a back or side sleeper and both are not really possible right now. Today has been the best day so far as expected. Took my first REAL shower and by myself lol.
I still can’t get over the staff at my surgeons office. I will never forget how calm, caring and comforting they made everything feel.

I'm already counting down until Sunday when I can take a shower. Do you still feel lots of pressure on your chest?
July 2, 2020
Pressure is so much better now. I'm asthmatic and sometimes felt the need for my inhaler when in reality it was just the pressure, not an actual lung issue. I don't have that now. I remember though my first set of implants the pressure issue lasted much much longer. My muscles were already stretched this time I guess. Showering was amazing! Can't wait for the steri strips to fall off though.

I couldn't imagine be asthmatic cause it already feels difficult to breathe with this pressure. Luckily though, it's just pressure and soreness, not actual pain.

They look great girl!! What size implants did you get?

You look great!!! I'm looking forward to my implant exchange surgery (and abdominoplasty) tomorrow. Like you, I started with 450cc saline implants but am going bigger. How has recovery been recently?

Hi. Interested in knowing which Dr you are going with. I need to get a breast implant revision and I am not having a good time finding a suitable dr for me?
July 31, 2020
I'm going to Dr. Bidic in NJ, same surgeon who did the implant exchange/revision for OP. He is one of the few doctors in this area willing to do really big implants. :)

Day 2

Honestly it’s not that bad. Took 1 real pain pill yesterday and immediately felt too sick to continue that. I honestly traded mild pain for severe motion sickness. Never could stomach anything strong. Ibuprofen is working out just fine!

I'm glad to hear you were able to recover without narcotics. I have my surgery scheduled tomorrow and I'm planning to do the same thing. I'm excited! :)

Surgery Day

missfit1984
Surgery was this morning around 11 and I was back in recovery before 2. It was so so much better than the 1st time around. Dr. Bidic’s staff far exceeded my expectations. I could cry thinking about how compassionate and considerate they were. Every nurse treated me as if I was family member of some kind. I did not at all get that at a past surgical practice. Literally changes everything. Dr. Bidic himself is equally amazing. Personable and warm, all around A+ facility.

Currently sore but again, nothing like my last experience. I am not a narcotics person, can’t stomach them so I’m hoping that by tomorrow all I will need is ibuprofen to get by. Nothing worse than vomiting after any surgery!
