Uplanned appointment

Well, my doctor's office asked me to come in today, if possible, after they read my email and saw the photo. I really appreciated the quick attention! He added a few more massage maneuvers to try to help the implant to settle correctly--primarily to help the right one go more outwardly, as I understood it. He also suggested that I avoid sleeping curled up on my side without some sort of support between my breasts (I haven't been sleeping on my side yet). Because of my rib cage going inward on the right side, I told him that underwires don't sit right. They allow the implant/breast to sort of slide under. He said I can't wear them. His office will send me a link to bras that I can wear. They said it was good that I contacted them early and came in.

Again, I'm really appreciative that they were so responsive (didn't dismiss my concern like my first PS), and encouraged me to reach out.

A little exercise and a real bra

I went for a 3-mile walk with some jogging intervals this morning, wearing my new Panache bra. It felt really good to get out and moving! (My doctor cleared me for intentional exercise, including jogging at 3 weeks, but I have a tendency to overdo things, so I waited a little longer. I felt ready today, and I took it fairly easy.) I have to say that the Panache bra seemed to keep the ladies in place, and I was not sore at all when I was done.

I also decided to try wearing my usual Natori featherweight bra today--I'm really tired of the surgical bra and trying to dress around it. I figure I can change at lunch if I'm uncomfortable. I can't remember when I was cleared to wear any comfortable bra that held my breasts in a supported yet natural position, including underwire--at least a week ago. Today was the first day I wanted to try and it felt comfortable, so I went with it.

I also sent an email to the nurse about my right breast. If there's something I can do or shouldn't do to prevent things from worsening, I want to know. And, perhaps, I'm being overly concerned after what I went through the first time, but, I figured that it doesn't hurt to ask.
