Replacing 8 Month Old Implants!
WORTH IT$6,200
Last year (June 2019) I paid a LOT for small implants. My previous doctor did a great job, however her approach was more conservative and I was really disappointed in my results after surgery. I knew within a couple months that I'd need to replace my implants to ever look the way I want; I want to feel sexy and comfortable in my own skin. I've always had small boobs, so having spent $6,500 on these new little boobies made me really sad! After reading reviews about Dr. Zollman, I knew he was most likely going to be the doctor who could deliver results that I am looking for.
I had my consultation (free) yesterday and he and Linda were SO kind! There is absolutely no judgement when you walk in and say "I want big boobs!" Linda treated me like a friend, everyone is personable and not robotic like other offices I've been to. I didn't feel rushed or pressured in any way at all.
My stats: I'm about 5'2" tall and weigh about 125-130 pounds. I'm 27 and have had 4 kids, all breastfed. The youngest was nursed for 21 months, so I literally had nothing left when she weaned. I was embarrassed to have my shirt off in front of my husband, then cried when I had to have a breast exam at my annual OB appointment because I was so embarrassed. After that I decided I needed to do something about this problem and quit letting it wreck my confidence!
My first implants are 335 cc Natrelle gel high profile implants (gummy bears). They're wonderful and very soft. However my wide chest and shoulders make them look so tiny and I don't love the look.
I plan to switch to Mentor saline implants, overfilled since I have little breast tissue to cover them with. 500-550 cc moderate or mod+ profile. Like others have said, I will be glad to know if there's an issue with saline instead of having a silent rupture. Saline is more affordable and having already spent so much, it is a relief to know that Dr. Zollman does such an amazing job with saline implants.
I'm waiting on my husband's travel schedule for work and then hopefully scheduling for March!

Congrats on your revision BA. Did the PS happened to mention if you were starting to bottom out on that one side? On your 3/4 angle pic, your breast on that side almost looks like it's has a lot of lower pole like it's starting to bottom out? Maybe it's good your replacing them however hopefully the new PS will take measures to make sure that won't happen with the new set. Going from HP to mod/mod+, did he happen to tell you how much wider the implant was and if it would fit fine within your BWD? Some ladies like a little extra side boobage so maybe you will gain a bit with a wider implant? Thanks for starting a new review and be willing to document your experience along the way. It's greatly appreciated!! Keep us updated!! :-)

Hmm. My first PS took BWD, I'm curious why he didn't take it. First PS didn't use the information except to add it to the Vectra 3D imaging, she had no recommendation whatsoever on which implant to choose to achieve the look I wanted. She only limited size. I didn't think of it at the time or I would have asked. Yes that implant does look like it's bottoming out, he said their appearance is partly because these implants are just too small for my frame. He said first PS may have only put them under 1 layer of muscle instead of all 3, he can't tell from the external exam but will know in surgery. I'm probably going to call today and see if they measure BWD the day of or what. I know they said they have all the implants there, so they don't have to order ahead of time like my first PS.

dr Z is a magician....he took one look at me and said 650 cc no measurements....i was so afraid it was gonna be too big...i have read on here probably 100 times that breast implants require a big mathematical evaluation to figure out the precise size...im so glad that i trusted his judgement on this because they are ridiculously perfect for my body....i LOVE my new side boob....i have no boob envy and i think if i would have chosen for myself i would have chosen smaller and had huge regret....he placed them under all 3 muscles and even after a year i can't hold a pencil under them....he used 575 cc saline and overfilled to 650 cc.....please know that this guy is an expert and will do exactly what is best for you and the results you are looking for

I'm going with silicone but I have called and talked again to Linda and I am so so excited! March 4th is a week away!!!

I am looking into saline a well. My doctor said it's less common to have encapsulation with saline, as well.
I agree, the one picture your implant looks to be bottoming out. They may need to stitch that muscle down. Thank you for sharing your new journey as well!!

I ended up going with silicone, Dr. Zollman recommended I stay with silicone since it feels so nice with my current implants. I do think one is bottoming out - he said my previous PS may have only gone under 1 muscle rather than 3. Looking forward to next week!

How was your recovery after the revision? I am considering the same!

I'm on my way home now from surgery. There was a little more pain than the first time simply because the implants are actually large this time. I got 600 cc Mod+ Mentor Memory Gel smooth round implants. I can already tell that I am finally going to love my boobs!! I haven't seen them yet but even in the surgical bra and my clothes, I can tell that I already love my proportions way more!!! I'll be posting updates as I go.

March 4 - Scheduled appointment!
I scheduled my appointment yesterday and decided to go with silicone. I love how the silicone feels right now, so I don’t want to risk changing it and regretting it. PS recommended I stick with silicone so I’m going to take that advice. Also, the main deciding factor was that I read that overfilling implants can void the warranty and since I’m already paying for a revision I don’t want to go without that assurance and financial help if there’s an implant failure.

I'm so glad you left such a great review! I have a question, just curious what your opinion is. If I am really bottoming out a little, what do you think about going bigger?
February 26, 2020
I think once the doctor goes in and stitches the muscle down your issue of bottoming out should get better. Jut make sure you wear supportive bras, and perhaps even sleep bras or bra shirts at night. I plan on doing that regardless. I'm paying money for the perfect boobs. I want them to stay that way!!
I'm really am torn about silicon versus saline though. I'm nervous about rippling, and how some women describe them feeling like water balloons, rather then breast tissue.

I agree! Sports bras are going to be my
best friend even when sleeping. Have you considered Ideal implants? Per my PS silicone is still top in terms of a natural feel, but Ideal is close, and if you have sufficient starting breast tissue, you may not notice a difference at all. Again, this is just one PS' opinion.

I don't think my surgeon uses them.
It's too bad most sports bra are not much in terms of support these days, some bracketed are as much support as some of my "sports bras". It's hard trying to find something you think may work, but you don't even know if it will fit afterwards. Lol.
But I think bralettes and looser sports bras will be fine to sleep in afterward, since I do now.

I went with silicone and am on my way to my surgery now! Not sure what size I'll come out with yet. I'm very happy that I spent the extra money on silicone, it gives me peace of mind!!

I'm looking forward to see what your outcome is! Good luck!
My count down is on, 19 days until I have surgery.

Current boobs. Ugh!
These are my boobs currently with 335 cc high profile implants, no bra. When I had my first augmentation I was demoted from president of the Itty Bitty T*tty Committee and just made a regular member. I want OUT of the club!! I’m thinking I may even want to go up to 600 cc if possible.
