I have waited an entire year to write a review of my breast lift/implant exchange. I wanted to be fully healed to share the most honest experience.
My boobs today look better then they did one year ago. However, I have valid concerns that Dr. Lampert has completely disregarded. I know I am very lucky that I wasn’t there because of breast cancer or breast implant illness, but I feel my extreme cosmetic concerns (stage 3 ptosis, areola reduction, implant downsize) were lost in his skills that are laser focused to treat patients with diagnostic priorities over those with cosmetic concerns. He admitted he pulled my pocket too tight which led to rippling however brushed this off and thought I should be thrilled with the results. After a 9 hour surgery, a month long recovery to get fully back on my feet, and spending an exorbitant amount of money to quite literally be “thrilled”, I definitely felt more then disappointed to have my concerns be made to feel invalid. Surgery is an emotional investment as well, and I completely understand the fine line doctors must walk between the patient they can never satisfy, and the standard of their work..when it truly does fall short. I had 10 consultations before choosing Dr. Lampert. He took his time to listen to me in our consultation and his surgery fee was the most expensive of all the quotes I received, which made me feel like he really must be worth it. My advice to anyone whose priorities are cosmetic is to make sure you exhaust all other options, as this is a huge commitment and one you will hopefully not have to repeat like me.
