Natrelle Inspira Cohesive Gel Implant Flipped Over
I started writing about this in my other review, but felt this needed to be in a separate one.
I had a mommy makeover in January 2018. I had tuberous breasts. My left breast was about a B cup and my left an A. I got 520 cc silicone cohesive gel implants.
About 3 months post op, I was bending over in the shower and noticed something odd about the way my left breast was hanging. It was sagging and I could feel the flat bottom part of the implant. My right breast looked perfectly fine.
I brought it up to my doctor at one of my check ups. At the time, he said the implant might have been too heavy for my breast. I was supposed to plan the second part of my surgery for the Silhouetteplasty service he offers. To fix the problem with my left breast, he planned to remove the left implant and put in a strattice for support.
I had to delay the surgery, but months later my left implant seemed to have "settled", but in a really weird way and was very noticeable when laying down. It hung just slightly lower than my right breast and looked squarish. My right breast was still perfectly fine.
Fast forward to December 2018 my doc had a new plan to fix my breast since it looked very different from when I first showed him the problem. He planned to do a benelli mastoplexy on my left breast.
In January this year I had my pre-op. My doctor said there were reports of silicone cohesive gel implants flipping over and he had about 10 cases of them. The implant company hasn't gone public about it (yet). My doc no longer offers this type of implant, and he would be replacing both gel implants with Natrelle Inspira Soft Touch. Supposedly no cases of Soft Touch flipping over so far.
March 6 was my breast implant revision. I stayed overnight at the surgery center. When I woke up, I expected to feel the same way I did when I first got implants. Pressure in my chest, like I got hit by a bus. I was surprised I didn't feel like that at all.
The first pains I felt was at the folds and in my left breast. My breasts weren't super painful since the overnight nurse was giving me pain meds through IV.
The next morning when my doc came to check on me, I asked him what the problem was with my left breast. I had honestly thought it just slipped out of the pocket and somehow manipulated into a weird position.
He said the implant was upside down! I was shocked! He didn't even need to do a benelli after all and just used an old technique to do a lift inside my breast using scar tissue. Now my nipples are even and are pointing more up. I still have sensitivity in my nipples! The first time I had my breasts done, it took months for the sensitivity to come back in my right nipple.
I'm getting my drains out tomorrow. I hate drains!

This EXACT thing is happening to me. Been to 3 plastic surgeons and I am the one who has figured out that it has flipped. Same implants, same course of events, same side, same sagging and deformed shape. Getting ready to go in for my 5th reconstruction revision and I sure hope to God this is the last one!!
So sorry this happened to you! I never thought something like this would happen to me! What implants are yougetting this time? What did the surgeons tell you?
Same thing here. Still have it in flipped as the plastic surgeon said that that is not a medical priority.

I'm happy with them so far eventhough they're still swollen. I'm hoping the internal lift he did on my left breast does the trick! My boobs are so soft and look natural.
