I am currently day 8.
Overall feeling pretty good!
On day 6, travelled back to the UK and all went smoothly. Felt tired but okay otherwise
Day 7: able to have a very active day, tidying the house, showered on my own
Day 8: today, able to walk for around 1.5 hours in seperate sessions and first day back at work. Overall feeling good. Very achey back, not much chest pain. Some pain at incision site but no longer taking painkillers.
Using a wedge pillow to sleep which has been very helpful!
Emotions have been up and down, overall very happy with apperance but keep wondering if should have gone a bit bigger since I don't want to need any more revisions for a very long time. Made me realise that my mental state is part of the problem and not sure I will ever be fully happy with the results, so trying to focus on accepting and being happy with them. In reality they are everything I hoped they would be, and look exaclty like the wish pictures I was aiming for. Trying to remind myself I am very petite and anything bigger may have been too large for me. Felt a bit down as feel bloated and making me feel not very happy with my apperance but hopefully this will pass soon.

Breast implant revision motiva full ergonomix 335cc under muscle 48 kg 5ft 3 from motiva smoothsilk 230cc over muscle
So about 20 months ago I had my first implants placed, I started out with 28/30 a and ended up around 30c.
Although I was happier with the results relative to pre op, I felt the implants were obviously fake and round looking due to them being over muscle, me having small amounts of subcutaneous fat in that area, and the round shape. I also realised I had opted for a smaller size as I felt that was what my partner wanted, rather than what I wanted. He was against me getting the implants and said he like me the way I was and therefore I didn't want to stretch to far away from this, even though I prefer the appearance of larger breasts.
Therefore I chose to get 335cc motiva ergonomix placed under muscle. I did a lot of research and found ergonomix to be the best choice, I was caught between these and teardrop for a while but the risk of rotation put me off tear drop. With it being my second operation, I am very keen to avoid another for as long as possible. Ergonomix seemed a good choice with being tear drop shape when standing but not having the same rotation risk.
I researched doing an augmentation abroad due to the cheaper cost, I am from the uk. I chose turkey as it had lots of options and eventually settled on dr ozge ergun. He had a large amount of positive reviews. Eda one of the patient coordinators was very friendly and helpful throughout.
The experience in the clinic and hospital was generally very positive and I felt I was taken good care off. Some of the hospital staff did not speak to me very much but I felt a lot of this was due to the language barrier. Overall I was checked up on often and my partner was able to sleep in the hospital room with me. I stayed there one day and then had a check up on day 5. All was okay and they gave me the clear to fly home day 6.
Recovery wise:
Day 1: woke up feeling surprisingly good, probably due to all the pain relief, good appetite and not much pain. Had some pain come on later in the day but not too bad. Got a very broken sleep.
Day 2: pain slightly worse. Managed to eat and drink well. Very bloated. Tired but managed to walk around.
Day 3: worse day for me, went out in the morning and felt okay but had nausea and vomitted 3 times, could not keep food or water down.
Day 4: had told surgeon about being sick and they advised to stop antibiotics. So did not take these day 3 or 4. Only paracetamol and ibuprofen. Felt better but still a bit hazy and tired. Eat and drinking okay.
Day 5: woke up in night with pain in left breast, quite bad. Managed to get back to sleep. Felt quite good when woke up so went out with partner, however pain in left breast started again. Spoke to surgeon and said likely normal. Also had check up and given all clear. First time got to see new boobs. Felt happy with size and they weren't as high as I thought they would be! Sorry first photo I have is from day 5.
And that's where I'm up to now! Looking forward to getting back home tomorrow and start work again on Monday so hoping improve a bit more over the next few days.
