Almost 1 year update

As you can see from the photos my new breasts are much better than the old pair with capsular contracture. However, my right breast sits too low. I’m going to ask my PS about correcting it at my 1 year follow up appointment.

5 Month Update
My breasts continue to change. I’m afraid my capsular contracture might be returning. My left breast (right side in photo) sits slightly higher and has slightly more upper pole fullness than the right. So either my right breast has continued to drop too much, or my left breast is being pulled higher by contracture. They are much less symmetrical now than when Dr Hubbard placed them initially. If they stay like this it will be ok, but if they continue to change I’m not going to be happy. Wish me luck.

Mine did exactly the same thing. What has your doctor said about fixing it?

3+ Month Update
I’m super happy with my breasts! A month ago I thought they looked “good” but I was still being extra critical. The minor rippling was bothersome to me. Now, I don’t even notice it. I had my 3 month follow up with Dr Hubbard and he’s also very pleased with my results. A few things I wish I understood better before surgery:
1.) Because I have almost NO natural breast tissue rippling is probably inevitable.
2.) My breast that had capsular contracture took much longer to heal. It was almost 3 months before that breast felt completely healed. My other breast had no pain or discomfort since day 4.
3.) Silicone is noticeably heavier than my old saline implants.

You look wonderful! I'm curious, we're out or the doctor ever able to understand the reason behind your capsular contracture?

Hi, thanks! No, there's no "official" reason for my capsular contracture. The CC developed after I had my implants for about 5 years. My hunch is that it may be related to a bad dental infection I had, but there's no way to confirm that. Fingers crossed that I don't experience CC again.

Are you over or under the muscle? I have saline unders and they have ripples and I’m only 6 months post op. They look great but when I bend they ripple and I sometimes see a ripple at the top

HI. I think your breasts are amazing and so natural looking. I am switching from saline to silicone and was wondering how big you went and your height and weight. Oh and how big you ended up being in your last pictures posted. Seriously your breasts look amazing. I am sorry one is starting to become lower then the other. My doctor says because I have thin skin and little breast tissue I need the mesh support. Did your doctor mention this to you?

Thanks! I'm 5'6" and around 115-120lbs. My final size is about 32DD. I went on several consultations and 1 doctor wanted to use mesh. I really liked that doctor, but wasn't totally comfortable with the idea of mesh, so I chose one of the other doctors who didn't think it was necessary in my case.

Thanks for the response! How is the one breast that is now lower than the other? I too have gone on many consultations. My breast are a mess. Ive had 3 pregnancies and breast fed all 3 for a year and my implants are just floating around in the pocket that they was made for them but now the pocket is 10x bigger. I am just so scared on size and hoping my doctor can help resolve this problem and keep it from ever happening again with the mesh that dissolves within a year
