Finally doing an implant revision.
I first had mine done in 2013 with Mentor 550 cc under the muscle. The surgeon ended up making my pockets too wide and the implants eventually slipped.
Currently dealing with “snoopy boob” and animation ( where the muscle deforms the implant when muscles are activated)
The implants currently sit very wide and when laid back fall into my armpit.
Having a bilateral pocket repair and replacing with textured overfilled 650-680 cc tomorrow

Hi, thank you so much for sharing. I think I have the same issue. One of my implants also does a "animation", with muscle deforming the implant when the muscles are activated. The surgeon said the implant came up (probably because the pocket is too wide, but she did not mention it). She says it is quite easy to adjust by opening again and closing up the pocket with a few internal stitches so that the implant will fall down a bit. We are doing it in its consultation room, no need for hospital. What has been your experience with the revision? In my case, we are not changing the implant. I had surgery 4 months ago, so it could be just closing the pocket and not changing implant.

You're recovery should be fairly simple but mine because he had to repair so much inside I needed to Have drain tubes and he cut the entire under crease of my breast so my pain was bad for about 2 weeks due to the full length incision. Had tubes for about a week as well

Day of surgery
My surgery time was later in the morning ( noon)
It took an hour from checkin before I was wheeled into surgery. Dr. Calobrace went with 650cc.
Upon waking I was sore, hard to breath and was hurting even with pain meds. I did cry a few times but it was from pocket repair and the tubes I had in.
Day 1 ( right after surgery) at home was rough. I’d try to sleep but would be woken from my deep snoring. My bed was very comfortable, I had a wedge set up and reading pillow so I slept at 45-90 degrees.
My amazing fiancé has been clearing my tubes/drains. God bless him, he’s been a great nurse
I have been in pain meds every 4-hours, muscle relaxer, antibiotic and my own pickup or a stool softer every 11 hours.
I barely ate 500 calories yesterday as I got out at 3pm and my I was so nauseated by the smell of food. Cucumbers and strawberries were easy to eat for me.

Drain tube clogged
Went into a zip up sport bra today and the large was right and pushing on my tubes: the Xl offered no support.
Had to go the doc office as in drain was leaking down my side, that blood just got stuck in it. The nurse was so gentle and helpful at redressing my tubes and showing us how to unclog.
Pain has been more sharp around the sides of my implants. More so pain on right side, hard to get up out of bed or off the coach if I ha e to use my right side.
Limited in reaching up and holding things still

Drains are such a pain!! Why did you need/get a revision?? (If you don’t mind me asking)

My old implants were too wide on my frame, the old surgeon never took my rib cage into consideration as it’s marrow and choice implants that had a wide base as well so when they settled they fell wide.
Eventually the scar tissue also ended up attaching to my chest muscle so whenever I’d move the muscle, the implants would become deformed. It was an insecurity of mine so -I opted to get them redone and fix all the pocket issues hence having to have drains as there was so much work done
