10 Stars for Dr. Chu
I began to have sharp nerve pains in my breast and chest area from my current implants. There was no question of who I was going to contact for a consultation, as I had heard for many years from family and friends, that Dr. Chu was the best plastic surgeon anywhere. I knew I made the right decision, especially when I found out that changing my implants was going to be more complicated than I initially realized. Dr. Chu explained that mine was a difficult case (my breasts turned out to be really messed up), and that my time in surgery was going to be doubled as a result of all the work that needed to be completed. I was surprised as I changed my implants twice before, and was never told about some preexisting conditions that I had. Nor did I have much follow up care. I was younger then so survived it all lol!
Though, now that I was undergoing this surgery while being older, I could really appreciate Dr. Chu’s professionalism, expertise, and detailed care for his patient’s overall health. For instance, I was never prescribed the preop work that Dr. Chu required, such as getting an EKG, chest x-ray, blood work and approval from my PCP to prepare for surgery. He also recommended that I follow strict dietary changes for a month before surgery. I felt seen and cared for as Dr. Chu spent as much time with me as was necessary to explain what my issues were. He managed to instill a full confidence in me that he had a plan of action to correct my various issues going forward. All of this to say that by the time my surgery day rolled around, I walked in fully assured of Dr. Chu’s expertise and knowledge concerning my surgery and after care. I wasn't afraid and I was at peace.
Since surgery, my nerve pain has completely dissipated and Dr. Chu fixed everything wrong concerning my breasts. I couldn’t be happier with the results! Not only am I healthier now, but my breasts have never looked this good before!
