13 days post op breast lift and implant exchange.
WORTH IT$13,483
Photo taken 13 days post op - I thought I’d still have pretty scary looking breasts at less than 2 weeks post op, but so far so good. I’ve read up lots on incisions opening up (scary stuff) so I’m taking it as easy as possible, which is not easy! Anyone would think it would be a holiday but actually I’ve it quite miserable, I’m used to doing everything for everyone (which I love) so being the one asking for help is not easy. All for a good cause though, I’m so happy to have smaller breasts again, even with this big ugly post op bra I just feel so much better in my clothes.
Tomorrow will actually mark 21 days post op for me.
I have twinges around my nipples and across my breasts generally, but I’m guessing this is just all the nerves firing up again along the incisions. They’re beginning to soften up, but honestly it does feel like I’ve got two rocks strapped to my chest if someone goes to hug me.
Off to the surgeons office again on day 24 to have the strips removed, yay!
Happy healing everyone :)

Funny how 10 years ago I was scared they’d drop!
Just a late night musing - when I first had these implants I was so scared they’d drop - I’d wear the compression bra morning and night! Here we are nearly 10 years later and they’re still as high as ever. I’m feeling scared for the new chapter - the new smaller me - I know it’ll take some adjustment, but it’s a positive step.
The two biggest things I’m looking forward to -
1, being able to fit into my true clothing size
2. Feeling relaxed rather than feeling self conscious - I’m so looking forward to not having them stared at by strangers. I hunch my shoulders to conceal them - it rather defeats the whole point of having them.
For reference I’m 5ft 5 / 110lb UHP 445cc

Ok new plan…
I met with the 2nd surgeon yesterday - they work as a team in theatre. I was pleasantly surprised he suggested an uplift in order to allow me to choose a smaller implant.
The situation I’m in -
I like the look of my breasts (even 9 years on) they’re just too big.
I don’t wish to sacrifice the look of them naked in order to have smaller implants that look ok when clothed.
So uplift it is! If only I hadn’t chosen such big implants for my frame first time round, boob greed got the better of me. I was like a kid in a sweet shop!
The surgeon has asked me to go in for a 4th appointment next week when I’ve had a think, and to discuss sizes. I’m thinking 280/300 ish…
I must say, they’re being very thorough so it really fills me with hope that the outcome will be something I like. Fingers crossed.

I think you shouldn't be afraid of the uplift and I'm sure with the right doctor the result will be super! Keep us updated!
As for the boob greed. It is important you did what you wanted back then and you enjoyed it! Even if you had chosen smaller implants you would maybe had regrets for not risking it so I think you did the best for that time and age you were. You enjoyed your big boobs and now you have the opportunity to also have a great more proportional result. So it's a win win for me.
Thank you for your uplifting lovely words, I’m feeling really positive about the year ahead. Best wishes to you for the festive season :)
