Downsizing to 375 moderate from 485 HP

Post op appt: 6 days post.

WORTH IT
Had my post-op appointment today. All is well! I had the tape removed from over the incisions and they look good.
I’m much happier with my new breasts! They fit me well, they look natural and AREN’T COLD!!!! My 485 HP were always cold. Maybe because they were bigger and my skin was more stretched, but my new breasts are soft, squishy and warm! I feel more of my natural tissue, too. Love them!
I can start to exercise again in 8 days. Starting slowly of course but I can’t wait! I feel like I lost some muscle mass already. Still wearing a soft cotton bra for a few more weeks but that’s ok, I’ll utilize my bralettes :-)
The best part is I can sleep on my sides again, woot! I so hate sleeping on my back.
Overall fast and easy appt with good news all around! Even though I took the long journey to happy breasts I’m glad I did. Now I know the difference and I won’t question the “what if” I went HP and bigger. Of course I would have saved a bit of money but alas...I’ll make more ????

Do you have any before pictures? I'm downsizing and reducing my profile as well. My doctor put in high profile when I told him not to before surgery. I love your results so far. Are you under the muscle?
Yes! Look on my profile and you will find my before and after for the 485 HP. And above is my before with 485 HP and my new 375 mod. I love my results!!! Much better for me :-). They are under the muscle. Hope this helps!
Thanks for your awesome detailed review. Your result looks great and I’m happy you are happier! I understand feeling they are too big! I went from 440 hp to 650 uhp and love them most of he time. It is hard for me to find bras because my band is small and cup is big but I love my cleavage! Might need to down size one day but we will see! I hope all is well with you! Congrats!!

Day 2 and 3

I have to say, I'm feeling great overall. It's REALLY hard not to do anything "that raises my heart rate" because overall I feel good. No pain or even discomfort. The "difficult" parts: sleeping on my back because my back begins to ache, "resting" all the time, and the itchiness of the incisions. The itchiness actually woke me up last night and it was REALLY hard to fall back to sleep because it itched so much. I realized I hadn't taken the Celebrex so I took that and I *think* it made the itchiness go away. Strange.
Here are photos from before and after. 485 HP in the yellow shorts and 375 mod (revision) in the jeans. I really like the 375 in my clothes. Very nice! However, I tried on my bikini tops and I was a bit sad. The HP definitely made them look better in the bikini tops. There are some parts of the 485cc HP that were good...cleavage...but most of it I have to remember that I didn't like. I love the natural slope with the moderate profile instead of the *ball* of the HP. It looks very natural for a 40 year old woman with 5 children. I'll have to find bikini tops that give me a bit of a lift now. In the grand scheme of life I am grateful that I could even afford to do this for myself.
I also love the morning boob swollen look, hahahaha!! I wish they could stay swollen! By evening the swelling has decreased and they aren't quite as full. Overall, these fit my body well.

Moderate profile looks great! Natural but still big.
Thank you! It has been about 1 year since the downsize and I'm SO happy with them. They still look very natural and when I'm wearing a nice bar they appear full and big. I'm expensive lesson for me, but worth it! :-)
ORIGINAL POST

Downsizing to 375 moderate from 485 HP

I originally had my breast implants placed in 1/2018. At that time my goals were to fill in the loose skin after breastfeeding 5 babies. In retrospect I should have been asking different questions. My surgeon is great and did exactly what I wanted but I never loved my result. It wasn’t that it was awful work, far from it. It was that I always felt that my breasts we just too big. I felt like they were huge in clothing and I couldn’t find outfits I liked anymore. I liked the cleavage at times but more often than not I was so self-conscious of them.
I waited 15 months and decided I wanted to discuss downsizing. My surgeon was super supportive and we talked through my options and expectations. I scheduled my surgery for implant exchange with local anesthetic.
Day 1:
Arrived at the surgery center and went back to be prepped. Since this was a local anesthesia procedure, IV was not needed. We took before photos, changed into a gown and waited. My surgeon came to talk to me about sizing and marked me for surgery. We went back and forth between the 375 and the 405. I had 485 HP and wanted smaller breasts though was worried 375 moderate would be too small. He recommended 375 to actually see a significant difference in size. Finally agreed on 375.
I waited for them to prep and my surgeon then came to talk to me again about sizing. He wanted to make sure I was completely on board. I was very indecisive and completely unsure of what size to go with because I just didn’t want to regret my decision again. There isn’t even a huge difference between 375 and 405! Ultimately he asked me what was more important to me: size or loose skin. I said size. I don’t mind too much loose skin or even the saggyness. We went with 375 moderate.
They prepped me, cleaned my skin, put up the drape and began. Surgery was interesting. Placing the local anesthesia was painful as there were about 6 shots in each breast and it felt like it was hitting bone. It probably wasn’t but that is my best explanation. My surgeon began and I didn’t feel any pain with incisions etc. I did feel the “pop” of the implants coming out and the cleaning of the breast pocket with saline etc. The right breast ached immediately after he finished stitching up the incision again. The left breast was more uncomfortable throughout the procedure with the implant coming out to the cleaning and replacing the implant.
It was over in about 40 mins. I am not the easiest customer. I am a great patient and follow instructions but I want to make sure I’m happy with the results. I feel like my surgeon and the nurses are awesome with me but I’m sure they think I’m a nut! I appreciate their patience and kindness.
I went home and overall feel good. My incisions sting but overall I have very little pain. I took Tylenol and I have a muscle relaxer and antibiotic. The biggest problem is sleeping. I should be used to this by now, right?! But sleeping on your back at an angle while elevated all night is uncomfortable. I don’t sleep well and dread the 3-4 wks of it.
I’m supposed to “lay low” for 24-48 hrs which is hard when you feel pretty good and I’m an active person! But alas, I want to heal well again so I’ll comply. Haha. After that I am on activity restrictions for at least 2 wks.
I like what I see so far! They are much smaller, softer and have a more natural downward angle than the high profiles. They are swollen this morning (morning after) and actually look fantastic with the swelling haha! I wish the swelling was the permanent result and I’d be in heaven. Haha! I’m hoping I’ll continue to be pleased! I feel better!
