One year post op revision

WORTH IT
I am now one year post op to the day, the revision seems to have been successful as I have no further signs of bottoming out!
I am still not totally loving the size/wishing they were smaller but I have gotten way more use to them and am not so hung up on it. I find it hard to find tops/dresses/bikinis that fit well and conceal them, I have also noticed I get a lot of weird looks when I wear particular outfits which makes me feel kind of self conscious. It also doesn’t help my boyfriend is completely un interested and was extremely un supportive through the whole thing.
But overall I’m really happy to not be dealing with bottoming out anymore which was the whole point. I’m happy to be putting this behind me, now I just have to pay off this second surgery !

YOU LOOK PERFECT! Your boyfriend is insecure and angry because he knows you will be getting more attention from men with bigger nicer breasts! PERIOD! He is acting non interested to lower your self esteem sad but true. I PROMISE this is the TRUTH . you look lovely!
Hey! I just want to say you look gorgeous! They have changed so much since day 1 of your revision. I recognise you from My Cosmetic Journey! You messaged me a few days ago when I was feeling down about my implants! I'm beginning to feel better after looking at several other women's boobs that I've loved in the past and realising that they they ALSO have a small gap (or even a large gap in some cases!) . I thought these women's implants looked amazing in the past before I was paying attention to gaps so that has helped a lot. I think we can be overly critical of our own bodies. You look absolutely stunning! My partner has been pretty unsupportive of my whole plastic surgery journey too. He's sick of hearing about my boobs. It's nice to see how yours have settled. They don't look too big on you. They look fabulous. I understand that feeling though. It's how I initially felt with my 350's (which were perfect) and then I downsized and realised I'd made a huge mistake. People looked at me coz my rack looked GOOD (and people said so). It was NOT too big. And yours are not too big either. You have a natural looking upper pole and they aren't excessively round. They fit you well. :)
Thanks so much! Yes I remember messaging you that's so good to hear you are feeling better, i just checked out your profile, you look amazing! I think your new size is perfect for you. I also checked out some my old wish pics recently and realised mine actually look similar to them! It's crazy how much overthinking and overanalysing can change your perception.
Absolutely! You are so right with the overanalysing. I've decided I'm not taking anymore photos until just before my next consult, which is the 5 week mark. They way, I'm more likely to see the changes. You honestly look really great and I'm jealous that i couldn't go a little larger, actually! I asked if he could try for 400cc but they just wouldn't fit. I have a very narrow ribcage at 11cm BWD, despite being fairly tall at 5'7 1/2 and he'd already gone to 11.75cm width and was worried about symmastia if we went any wider. The only way to go bigger would be XHP and he hadn't ordered those. It all comes down to whatever fills out your BWD in the end. I remember seeing photos of your very first implants (315cc?) and they didn't fill out your chest wall the same. You needed the extra CC's. These implants fit you perfectly. :)
Any news of bottoming? Your results are great btw!

So far so good. I saw my surgeon for my 3 months post op appointment and he’s very happy with how they’re healing. He’s cleared me for all activities now. Pain is mostly gone. I’m still being careful with working out to wear a very supportive bra but have relaxed a bit more with other activities.
The healing process has been quite long with this surgery but I’m hoping they will hold up for a long time! I’m happy with how they look now.

12 week update

So I feel like I have seen so much improvement in my breasts the last couple of weeks, they seem much more natural and don’t feel so huge/ foreign.
I would rate the revision as a success and feel my surgeon has done a great job in correcting my complications.
The whole breast surgery experience for me has been a very long and bumpy road, it’s really taken a financial and emotional toll which I did not expect when going in for my first surgery.
I would advise to anyone considering breast augmentation to really research into your surgeon and be aware on any complications that could occur!
So for now on I am focusing on the future and my mental health. hopefully won’t have to worry about my implants again for a long time !

How is your recovery going?! I recently scheduled my second revision but am not having it until December. Do you feel like they have moved at all? Or have you done anything different this time during your recovery? My surgeon doesn’t want to use a mesh or internal bra if it isn’t necessary and he feels that doing just the sutures again will be sufficient. I’m just worried that isn’t going to work because it failed the last time. I’m thinking I’m just going to have to be extremely careful with myself after this surgery.
I’m sorry to hear you need another revision I know how stressful it is. I’m 4.5 months post op now and so far everything has gone well. I’m getting more used to them now. I have had my last check up with my surgeon and he is really happy with them. At first I was so worried and extremely careful with moving and using my chest muscle. I am also using a supportive bra. I have definitely eased up on this now as my surgeon advised me I have no limitations. I just had the internal sutures and they have held for me but the healing time was probably a full 3 months. Maybe you could get a second opinion?
I’m glad everything is going smoothly for you! I could get a second opinion but truth is, my surgeon isn’t charging me anything and I know another surgeon would charge a lot probably. I think I’m just going to express to him that there’s no way I want to go through with a 4th surgery. What kind of bra did you buy?
I understand, my revision was very expensive. I am wearing the Panache bras for work and gym. They are great!
Awesome thank you !!
