4hrs post op
Before surgery we had another meeting to chat and discuss game plan. the dr asked me what I wanted again to go over a plan and he conferred with another dr who would be there to assist. My goals were to
1. Create more cleavage/lessen the gap
2. use another plane, so we went w subfascial (as I've read it can lessen chances of capsular contracture but over the muscle so as I train my chest/pecs the implants won't look funny when I flex and it won't be limited to the space under the.muscle and using a new plane for revision can also be like starting new)
3. I wanted to use the same/ have minimal scarring
We were able to achieve all 3 goals based on my body type and situation.
So I just got back from his clinic and have a follow up tomorrow so we will see what the next update is. The staff were all very nice and kind, helpful and considerate of my care. I was woozy after surgery so I laid in their recovery area for 1hr to rest and sleep a bit. They helped to call my family to arrange pick up too!

Dr Anek Sony of clinic Dr Alex Aesthetic is one of the top in Chiang Mai for anything beauty related and i found him after doing lots of research online! Thai web pages won't pop up as easily in North America, so do your digging!
The type of implants (allergan biocell, highly textured, full profile, full width, anatomical 290cc) I have from (Dr. Ali Adibfar, Toronto, ON - terrible Dr. in comparison) increase my chances of BIA-ALCL, blood lymphoma so i decided to get it removed and revised with Motiva Ergonomix, progressive gel ultima, Full profile, round, 315cc. - these have only been on the market in TH for 6m and still on clinical trial in North America but they offer lifetime warranty, innovation for safety w microchip, monobloc shell and bluseal barrier, huge in spain and costa rica (do your research)
I'm going to Thailand for medical tourism bc you "hear" about people who do these things all the time but i couldn't find ANY reviews of people from North America on this site! in Thailand whatclinic and wong nai are the top search engines for plastic surgery. The Dr i chose isn't the cheapest but he is definitely an artist! His specialty is in face and anti-aging and works on young thai influencers (100k followers+)
Dr. Alex saw me in his Bangkok office bc he is there Sun-Tues and at his Chiang Mai office Wed-Sat, this is also the larger location with on-site surgical room. I initially made contact through fb messaging and his staff, Bell was very helpful and quick to respond to my msgs.
I flew in on Sat 12am and had a consult following day Sun 3pm. Dr Alex answered any and all questions I had and was very kind, patient and aware of current techniques. He spent about 2hrs with me reassuring whatever questions and concerns i had. When i left i felt confident about the choice I made and even more so after speaking with local thai people at the xray clinic and blood lab (his office works with and will provide direction for next steps and any testing that's needed!)
Just know a BA revision costs more because they have to remove the old implant and possibly suture the old pocket but they won't know until they open you up. His recommendation and chosen method is over the muscle, transaxillary via endoscopy. My existing is under the muscle, which he said is more painful and was very considerate that i am travelling to have this surgery done on holiday and to limit any discomfort as possible.

Dr. Alex (Anek Sony) was really great he spent almost 2hrs with me answering all my questions, he is an artist as his specialty is face and anti aging! I will have to return in a few more years for his fat graft (he suggests better than thread lift!) I highly recommend anyone from over seas to use his office! He has a surgical facility on site and all his staff stayed 2hrs after closing until I left and they all got up to walk me to the door and always asking me if I'm feeling pain or not, after they took me outside and into the car. They also called my family for me to pick me up!
