63 year old with breast revision surgery - recovery has been quick

Dr. York Yates is an excellent surgeon and a very positive, upbeat, caring doctor to work with! I am 63 years old and had silicone implants that were placed above the muscle 37 years ago that needed to come out! They both had terrible capsular contraction and my latest mammogram showed that both were ruptured! I went to consultations with 3 different surgeons and Dr Yates made me feel the most comfortable by far! He showed me that he really cared, understood my fears and concerns and was confident that he would be able to do what was needed to give me the safest and best possible outcome! I had to put my complete trust in his judgement because neither of us knew exactly what he would face once he got in there to do the surgery. All decisions about whether he would even be able to put new implants back in and if he could, whether they would be placed under the muscle or over the muscle and what type and size of implant would be used, would need to be in-surgery decisions. I was nervous but he came into surgery with a smile on his face, and such a positive attitude and the words "Today is going to be a great day for surgery" and I knew I was in good hands! I am now three weeks out from surgery and I am absolutely thrilled with my results! My recovery has been quick and I never even needed narcotics! I was fine with over the counter Tylenol! I have to give a shout out to Dr Yates' awesome staff and the anesthesiologist he works with as well! Everyone was so great! Lindsay, the patient coordinator went above and beyond to help me with FMLA. I just can't say enough good about this whole experience! Thanks one and all! My photos may not look like a model bur remember I am 63 years old and I have given birth to 13 children so I am ecstatic with my results! They are perfect for me and I hope this review might be helpful to someone else in my situation!
