8 Days Post Op

Went today to have my drains taken out but unfortunately I have to wait till at least Monday as they are still a bit bloody. I did have a layer of stitches taken out today by one of Dr Lawton’s kind nurses who made it pain free and easy. I have to have the other layer of stitches removed in a week. I had my old implants taken out via periaereolar incisions at the base of the area and then a capsulectomy and:or capsulotomy completed and then the new implants placed.

Confirmed today I had smooth round Mentor HP 650CC placed. The old ones were 300CC as I mentioned before.

I measured my bra size today with a measuring tape and it looks like I’m a 34DD or 3DDD depending on the brand.

The hardest part of the recovery has been the drains because they are uncomfortable to sleep with as they are coming out from my sides a bit behind my breasts under my arm area. Also— they make me feel gross carrying then around haha.

Other than that and since this was my 2nd BA submuscular—the recovery has been easy. I don’t have any pain really or tightness in my breasts as there was already space there before for the implants. And it’s nice not having to wear a bra tbh for a month.

The post op recovery vitamins have been great to help speed recovery, but I’ve also bought a probiotic for all the antibiotics I have to take daily. A total of 6 antibiotics per day. Diazepam and Valium were also prescribed for me and I only needed them for the first few days.

I have to go back Monday to have drains hopefully removed and then a few days later for the rest of the stitches to come out. Then it’s time to start massaging them after that says the nurse which they’ll go over with me when they take out the final stitches next week.

Obviously they haven’t dropped and fluffed yet, but even at this early stage I’m in LOVE with my new boobs!

Dr. Lawton is amazing!!!! I can’t wait to update again!

Response from Dr. Lawton:
It is never appropriate to make the patient feel bad about themselves. So sorry you had to go through this with another doctor.

Here is a before and after

Wanted to post this before and after. I think Dr Lawton did an AMAZING job! My breasts look more lifted now (I didn’t have a lift) and full. What do y’all think?

He even fixed my animation deformity that I had. Now when I flex my pectoral muscles I can’t move my boobs like I could before.

In addition he got rid of my snoopy boobs! Super happy!!! Dr Lawton is the BEST!

2 days post op - 650CC - I think

The surgery went well! Dr Lawton went through my aerolas —lower half— to remove the old implants and place the new ones. I am quite swollen still and have drains placed for a week since he did a capsulectomy I believe.
I asked what size my old saline implants were that he removed and the nurse said 300 and I asked for 350 to be placed on top of what I already had so I’m assuming these are 650cc. But I won’t know for sure until I go to have the drains removed next Friday.
Overall I am happy with the size and shape! Looking forward to final results in a couple of months.

Wow these look wonderful. I've been wanting new implants and would love to go larger like this!
