Never happened years later. I really just hope doctors take accountability when they don’t do a job that’s well done. Please everyone do yourself a solid and research research research. Go to someone who specializes in the procedure you desire vs a Jack/Jill of all trades.

Poor Implant Replacement; Lack of Skill at the Time.

I went in for explant and replacement from saline to silicone. I informed Dr. Sato pre- surgery that my right breast felt droopy; the implant pocket wasn’t deep enough so the implant sat higher on my chest.

She did the exchange, ruled out capsular contracture, and didn’t fix my concern. I came out of surgery with a really high right breast which was very obvious since I went from 290cc to 375cc.

Her colleague came in during out consult one day after I continually complained that the implant wasn’t dropping as Sato said it would. Gaslit me several times when I knew what I was talking about. Her partner actually told her in front on me the error and what needed to be done. Instead of the practice fixing the mistake, which was part of my initial concern, they wanted to charge me another $5k.I was so embarrassed to post these pictures, but better late than never. No accountability whatsoever.

If she would have had the skill, this wouldn’t have been missed. March 2018. Oh yeah, I tried for months to get my pictures from my medical records and they would never turn them over.

My biggest suggestion is to find a doctor who is an expert in the thing you want to do. BBLs may be her jam, but not Breast revision. I’m still waiting on this boob to drop… other boob perfect!

Same thing happened with my right implant. It never dropped or fluffed. I had mine in for 10 years now. I think it has to do with the surgeon’s pocket dissection. Anyways, I hope that yours will eventually fall or you are able to have the surgeon do a minor repair. Best of luck!! xx
It’s so unfortunate because I was aware that something wasn’t correct but I was gaslit. Now another surgery needed. It hasn’t dropped and it’s been 5 years :( I just want surgeons to take accountability for their poor work and minimally fix their oversights
Exactly!! It is unprofessional to just leave us without a plan to fix them. My PS office actually accused me of having a a body dysmorphic disorder bc i wasn’t happy with the size and one implant hanging up higher.
It’s a shame to go through this and not get the results you hoped for. :-/
