I had my first BA in 2005. Though I wasn’t happy with the result I put off getting a revision for 12 years. After having 2 kids who I breastfed, I thought It was time to get a new pair of boobs. My sister who was also planning to get her boobs done found Dr. Kim on social media. After looking at his website and social media accounts I knew he was the right surgeon for me. His works are just phenomenal. He can really give you the best breasts for your body. I read some reviews about him being cold and brief with patients but that didn’t deter me from going to him. What matters most is what he can do in the operating room. I had a mild case of symmastia from my first BA so my case is a little bit more complicated. My old implants are pretty small (275cc silicone) and we’re placed too closed together creating a look that is similar to a uniboob (not pretty). For my revision, he did pocket modification with internal sutures at the sternum to create a gap between my breasts. He was able to put in larger implants (440 cc/505 cc textured implants), giving me good amount of side boobs. I’m 2 weeks post op now and so far very satisfied with the results.

4 weeks

It’s going to be 4 weeks since my breast revision. I can’t believe how time just flew by. I’m absolutely back to normal. No pain whatsoever but still not overexerting. I have a 4 month old who is about 15 lbs, but I try as much as possible to not engage my pec muscles when I lift her up. I’m still taking Accolate and vitamin E to prevent capsular contracture. My breasts are relatively soft and bouncy. I have also started my scar treatment by applying Silagen gel once a day. Scars are pretty dark and thick right now. Hoping that the gel will somewhat improve the appearance.

As for the skin tenting on my cleavage...unfortunately, it’s still there but it’s a lot better than before. I’m still using the thong bra, not sure how helpful it is. For the most part, I am happy with the result but still wishes that my cleavage look better.

I will be seeing Dr. Kim again for my 5th week follow up next week.
