Breast Implant Removal

WORTH IT
I had my breast implants removed at the Nulfield private hospital in Jesmond. The procedure was carried out by a Mr Collis who was excellent. This was obviously a walk in the park for this highly skilled surgeon and the whole procedure took 45 mins. I was really nervous but the staff were so lovely and reassured me all the way I had local anesectic and apart from it being a bit stingy going in I didn't feel any pain it was so fast , implants came out in perfect tact due to the skill of Mr Collis. The pain was very min and paracetamol was all that was required. The nursing staff right through to reception were cheerful and lovely . Anybody thinking of having their implants removed I would highly recommend the Nulfield and Mr Collis who's stitches were so neat. I'm thrilled I've had them taken out 600cc I didn't even have any bruising . I'm still healing and very happy.

Hi, I too went to see Mr Collis about removing my implants , he did they where fine and for me to think about it. They do feel fine, but I think bet to get them out now while they are still pointing forward and not dropping just yet. Also he controversy over them in the press. Can I ask how do yours look and feel that’s my big concern, I still want to feel and look good I’m scared they’ll look like spaniels ears

Hi the way I see it what you have said makes real sense to just remove them . He does it at a very good price and who knows it all may change. Surgeons will be noticing how many woman are removing their implants . This is serious for them! They are potentionally going to lose thousands of pounds as it's the biggest required cosmetic surgery going . Who knows in the future it may be so exspensive as more and more woman want them out.?
Some won't even remove without replacement. Knowing ofcause they too will need replacing in time. Anyway I'm only 4 weeks after the procedure. I'm feeling so happy they are out. I'm still healing . Best go on the site and do as much u tubing as you can take
Lol that's what I did I will try and send a pic at what I look like 4 weeks now later! They are constantly changing. Can I ask what you looked like be4 BA? did you have any breast tissue? I had a small bit.

Hi, Glad to hear your doing well in your recovery. Well I’ll probably bore you a bit now, here’s my story

Thank you for your story ! Didn't bore me at all. This journey is so bloomin difficult. But where the head is the body follows. So your half way there. Although mine were big! They were fine, Mr collis examined me and said no problems. As you know breast implants are only advised to last 10 years so like me it was either now or just having it hanging over me. I didn't want the stress anymore so decided to just remove them. I also didn't want anchor scars so didn't want a lift. I would go with your instincts you know your body better than anyone. Don't worry about the outcome you can always get some lovely bras that don't jeopardize yòur health.

Can I ask how much the procedure cost?

Hi I think he’s about £2000, that’s ok that I’ve seen on this site. I know his consultation fee is £100 I seen him last April, trying to find the time to book my removal it’s him, holidays etc for the healing time. Good luck x
