I had saline implants under the muscle for 26 years feeling strange pains all over my body only after 1 year of that surgery, I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me, so it went on dealing with symptoms and it only got worse for me.

For the past eight years, I endured many debilitating symptoms and pain on my upper torso that impacted every daily task, to the point that I had to close my small business, so by now, I knew I had to get my Implants out if wanted to live. First I got diagnosed with Sjögren’s Syndrome, I went to different doctors for other symptoms that got pretty bad, so doctors said that it could be MS because I couldn’t walk without assistance at some point, I had dizziness, constant bladder issues that mimicked UTI’s, Esophagitis, Brain zaps & eye stabbing pains, so CT scans & Brain MRI’s came out ok, it was hard to feel disabled, and not getting any answers was the worst. It was crazy, I went constantly to Rheumatologists, then cardiologist, Neurologist, 2 ER visits, walk in clinic 6 times in 4 months this year 2024 and all was fine?!, at this dead end it was time to take a different path, BII had to be the reason of my problems, I read about it, I saw many stories about BII that I could relate to, I was terrified.

I’m happy to say that my surgery was a complete success.The excruciating pain that had plagued my chest, back and ribs for so long is gone!, I’m in disbelief!, no dizziness, and many other symptoms that I felt daily are gone, and hopefully all the bad will stay away. Now It has been almost 5 weeks since my surgery, and like a miracle as I mentioned above, I haven’t felt pain again since the explant, to be honest, I can’t tell my story without tears flooding my eyes. It is unbelievable to feel free from so much affliction, because many of those symptoms would hit me at once, I was falling apart so fast.

Today I happily say that my recovery process has been smooth, and has been kindly guided by Dr. Rankin and his amazing professional team. I am so lucky.
