Sick & tired of feeling sick & tired
UPDATED FROM Mainepride04
Had my MRI , waiting for results...new symptom ??
So last week I had an MRI on my breasts and another on my hip that's been bothering me for years...I go on the 3rd for my results. Sense then I've had severe pain in my armpit of the side that has been bothering me . It almost feels swelled up? Also I've had the most annoying twitching muscle behind my knee that is driving me crazy !!! It's going on day 3. I'm super eager to get my results.
UPDATED FROM Mainepride04
Booked a consult with dr.darrow in Boston
I have to say Dr.Darrow responded quickly to my email and quoted me a price. He then called me personally within a couple hours to set up our consult! April 26th I'll be traveling to Boston to meet him.

Good luck with the consult! My consult is in May. Please update me after seeing him. I'd love to hear your thoughts and his too!
Hi! Did you get your MRI results back? I hope all went ok. Did you also end up meeting with Dr. Darrow as well?

Trying to find the best surgeon to remove my silicone implants and regain my health. I've heard en bloc total capsulectomy is vital to removing all possible silicone . I was implanted 3.5 years ago with 375 cc silicone mod+ implants. I started out a very very deflated 32b? After nursing 2 kids I had lots of bottom skin with no upper pole. I didn't have a lift as my nipple position was good. Well...here's where I'm at with symptoms & my reason for wanting a plant with no replacement!
-started getting very achy and fatigue about 2 years ago. Passed it off on my gym routine and cut back. Didn't help.
-pain in my right breast and noticed slight shape change. Constant heavy feeling. Figured I was just bottoming out.
- had trouble falling asleep due to constant dull hip pain and leg going numb . Had x-rays and all looked well.blamed it on having kids naturally.
-1 year ago fatigue got so bad I thought maybe it was my birth control pills...so I stopped them& changed my eating habits. Focused on being healthy inside- no difference after 6 months.
-strange left eye problem keeps reoccurring. Feels as though there's something in it a couple times a month but nothing's there.
-my toes turn almost purple and get really numb or almost burn.
-extreme sensitivity to the cold.always freezing limbs.
-6 months ago my hip pain became almost debilitating so I went back to my dr. More x-rays and full blood panel . All seems normal. Out of desperation I tell him all of my symptoms and cry that I feel crazy. He asked about surgeries& I mentioned my implants. He's ordered an MRI on my hip and my implants to see if I have a rupture.
After much research and reading so many reciews, I've decided on an explanation without replacement. I'm doing this regardless of whether my implant is leaking or not.
I have some questions . After 3.5 years will I have a capsule to remove(en bloc?)
Does anybody have recommendations for a surgeon in New England preferably ? (I'm in northern Maine ) . I've had a hard time finding a reputable surgeon who I'll trust.
Will I need a lift? Will my nipples sink in? They already seem to kind of just droop :-/ . Ugh so many questions! Any advice/encouragement is greatly appreciated! I'll continue updating. My MRI is next Wednesday and my consult with Dr. Verne Weisberg in South Portland is the 7th of April.

I have saline implants, which I got 13 years ago. I'm 36 now and had a baby 2 years ago. Since my implants I have had terrible joint pain at random times. After my baby I have had a slew of issues. Joint pain, extreme fatigue, numbing in legs/ arms, adrenal issues, hormonal imbalance, I can go on. So many blood panels and and saliva tests done. UGH! I'm tired of being tired.
I am beginning my consultation process Monday 3/20. So far I have scheduled with 4 PS. I'd like an Eb Bloc but it seems not many surgeons like to do that procedure. ;/ I'm scared about this whole process.
Good luck with your search!! What area are you in? I've had the hardest time finding somebody driving distance. I just don't want to juggle babysitters/flight/make my husband take time off etc.
Yay!! So happy for you!! I just explanted 3 wks ago, feels great!
I think you'll have a great result. Only 3.5 yrs...you might not have much capsule. I know removing them can, if they're thicker, can take breast tissue with it. It seems some PS's always do and some only if they have to...make sure you ask at your consults!
I'd wait on the lift to let them settle first. Again, every PS is different and you may be told to wait 6mos before deciding on it.
Good luck & look forward to reading your story!!
