3 weeks post-op
Happily, I am 3 weeks post-op. I am starting my scar treatment today. I am using a silicone gel from Silagen during the day and Silicone Scar Sheets at night. I feel very confident that the scars will look great. I just have to be dedicated and consistent on the treatments.
I am finally able to sleep on my sides again, thank goodness! I am doing range of motion exercises to help stretch out my muscles and tendons that I have been holding close to my body. Still not comfortable with using my hands and arms to do anything overhead yet. I have some uncomfortable soreness in the right breast when I try, so taking it easy a few more weeks. I have sensation coming back in my lower breast tissue and my nips are really sensitive. I'm still super happy with my results. I was looking at swimsuits and I'm so happy to be able to wear some cute ones without strings or straps digging into my shoulders!

8 Days Post-Op
So sorry for the late update. This is an 8 day update. I am feeling much more like myself. I can move my arms more freely and I don't fear straightening my back, ( I was worried that I'd pull my sutures loose of I stretched the skin while trying to stand tall ). Only on Percocets for 2 1/2 days then switched to Advil every 12 hours. I did however get the beginnings of a pressure sore on the bony part of my butt... definitely sleep in a recliner, ( I don't have one ) as the Dr. suggests. I had help on my first shower day. But the next day I figured out how to manage, however slowly. I went back to work 5 days after surgery in a light duty capacity. By day 8, I was feeling more energized but still maintained light duty.
As for the breast, I could not be more happy with my decision to get the implants removed. The scars look bad but it is as I expected. The Dr. said I can start using scar cream after my 2 week appointment. I expect the scars to lighten up drastically. It is all apart of this type of surgery. I have not been depressed at all. I even tried on a few cute dresses that were too tight on my chest, they look great now, and I definitely feel more sexy this way. I felt like a porn chick before the surgery and hated every day of it.
I'll update again at 2 weeks!

48 hours post surgery
Well, I am now 48 hours post surgery. I am feeling pretty well over all. The pain is mild and manageable, which I am now weening myself off of Percocet and doing fine with Advil. I got to see my breast for the first time today after showering. I am very pleased with what I see now with the stitches, swelling and steristrips that I know I am going to be very happy over the next months of recovery and settling of my breast. I can look at my self and smile. I'll post another update at my 1 week check up.
