Did your symptoms get better once you removed your implants? I just had mine out a week ago and I can’t tell if my symptoms are better or not yet.

Yes but it wasn't right away and it wasn't the only thing I did. I already knew I had Lyme and Epstein Barr. I had treated Lyme before explant but was never able to get fully well. Close but I would always go in a spiral downwards. I had silicone implants for 22 years, 2 sets, and was never sick. The last set of implants were Mentor gummy bears and within 3 months I was dearly ill. I never thought it was my implants bc I wanted to keep them and wasn't able to admit that they may be a reason why I was sick. I finally decided that even if the weren't the absolute cause that they couldn't be doing my body anything positive and were probably lowering my immune system. I felt bad still for a long time after explant. With my awful results I was so depressed and thought I had made a bad choice. It took a year and a half to feel better. I'm doing the same treatment for Lyme and EBV as I did before except this time it's all working! I'm recovering slowly but surely. That's my story. If you have any other questions do let me know

Brease explant

I didn't post pictures of my explant before so here are the pictures. I didn't have a good experience and he didn't listen to what I wanted. I will need a lot of reconstruction to get them to even look somewhat normal. The bottom of my breasts are square and there is a dog tag. I told him to order do a very tight lift and he didn't listen. I had beautiful nipples before. It's so upsetting

I am sorry to hear how unhappy you are with your results, is your P.S. fixing your issues? Have you experienced better health since removal? What were or are your ailments, did you have BII symptoms, textured implants? I hope you are feeling better.

He tried to fix them that was the second picture I have in my review. That's as much as I'm willing to let him do unfortunately. He is a very nice person and a good doctor but I believe he just didn't have the experience. I'm bummed I have to pay for another surgery. Yes I am finally getting better after the explant. It was a year and a half before I had improved health. I had smooth mentor gummy bears. I mainly had aches all over like fibromyalgia pain. Brain fog, shaky hands. Can't remember what else though

He's listed as #6 best explant doctor in So Ca on the BII site. Maybe you should leave a review there. Maybe there wasn't enough breast left to do a lift. Maybe just explant would have looked better. I know it's water under the bridge now. Sorry.
