I’m so grateful to share that I’ve officially had my explant surgery with the incredible Dr. Rankin — and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better team to walk beside me through this chapter.
Because my schedule is flexible, and that I live 2 hrs away, I was on a wait list to fill in for a last minute cancelation. I got the call literally a month before surgery. It all moved super quick.
From my first consultation to the moment I woke up post-op, I felt safe, heard, and supported. Dr. Rankin’s knowledge, skill, and compassion made such a difference in my healing journey, and I can’t thank him enough for his dedication to women’s health. You can see by my very recent results that my breasts still look beautiful even at three weeks post op. I am grateful and excited about growing older naturally, and gracefully.
A huge shoutout to liaison Dee Hicks — the heart behind the scenes. Without her this would not have been possible. Dee was with me every step of the way, making sure I had the information, guidance, and emotional support I needed. Her presence is a gift to every woman navigating explant, and I’m so thankful our paths crossed, for her generosity and attention.
This surgery was more than just physical for me — it was a return to myself. I was at a very bad spot for 20 years, and my implants were the very last remnants of an old past existence. The magic of soul transformation is real, even through something some consider vanity.
